There is truth , even today. Things happen, or do not happen. People speak about things that have happened. If their words correspond to reality, and thusly, what actually happened, they speak truth. If not, they speak lies.

You have not presented any evidence here to suggest that I am incorrect in any of my assertaitons about the nature of the US government, or of global conspiracy.

Hey...as long as someone admits that their opinions are opinions then we can talk in a civilized manner but when people start posting dubious "facts" that are DESIGNED to incite then we have a problem.

I have never done this, here or anywhere else. The proper response to such action would eb to ban the responsible account, not the topic at hand.

I do not see how we can call this a worthy ministry and prohibit discussion that many rugffle some feathers. Did not Christ Himself ruffle feathers? Sometimes that is what it takes.

If the mods see fit to ban a topic, so be it, I cannot argue with that. However, suppression of free speech is one of the devil's favorite activities.

Adnauseam posting of content meant to tickle the ears relegates Jesus Christ to the dust pile.

How many folks have been Saved by such drivel? Seriously? When you hit the streets with the Gospel? Do you tell people about a One World conspiracy? Does that cause them to repent? Does that cause them to see Christ?

How is it that the blinders are removed?

Let me tell you. It is when a person finally has it revealed to them by the Holy Spirits conviction that they are a sinner and in need of Salvation. Period! Then they are able to see how Lovely our Lord really is.

I will speak from experience. 9/11 shook me from my long slumber. I was Christian. I believed. I could care less about my sins though. I saw no need to repent. 9/11 provoked in me a long withheld Love of God and a need and desire for Him. That only He Himself wrought. I was in a mans house recently. I cooked him and his wife dinner. They Loved it. The conversation turned to our Nation and the War. This man spoke of a turn of events on 9/11 I can only term incredible. Having to do with himself. He was fearful. He has long been seeking meaning to this. You see though his problem was that he himself was Christian only in name. The Holy Spirit came and helped me guide this man into a very solid fact. That behind all this was God. Jesus Christ is the center of the Universe and all Creation. That behind all of this was a master plan laid out. Like the chain of events in this mans life that day. That even though all of this should pass away? The Word of God would stand. it was Ture that jesus Christ has and will continue to Love this man. That will be all that matters. This mans heart towards God and the Love of our Lord. Simple.

I can't wait to see him again. Why? I am excited about Jesus and what He is doing in this mans life. What He is doing in my life. When I get to heaven? I don't want to talk about what men were doing. I don't want to talk about some shadowy world governance. I don't want to talk about how I ran around my habitrail and played Church.

I want to Boast in the Glory of my Lord. I want to bow my head with the angels and sing of His Glory and how He turned fear into Glory. Of how Jesus Saved another one.

You see that is what it's all about. Perfect Love casts out fear. Saves souls from eternal damantion.

I will not get into a philosophical discussion of what is or is not truth. I have stated the facts concerning the Bible being the absolute and final truth. I think that you are intelligent enough to have read and understood that.

I am not about to get into a conspiracy theory discussion with you either. The fact that I have not presented evidence to refute your assertions does not cause your assertions to be truthful. It simply means that I believe there are more profitable means of doing the Lord's business until He comes. Set your mind on the things above not on the things which are on the earth. What benefit do conspiracy theories have in the Body? What benefit do they have in the preaching of the gospel?

OK, explain to my ignorance how what you are talking about here is advancing the Kingdom of Christ?

How will a seeker find Jesus in debating the "failure of the current administration"?

All "truth" leads to Jesus?

How about I talk about the "truth" of how lousy my trigonometry teacher in high school was. Will that lead anywhere?

How about I talk about the "truth" of some of my current students are lazy bums. Will this "truth" bring anyone to Jesus?

Or what if I talk about the "truth" of this woman I met with a huge, ugly wart on her nose? Is Jesus in that "truth"?

Is there any evidence that Jesus or the Apostles spent any time downgrading the government of Rome? Or spent anytime speaking out against any political decisions made by them?

Is politics the priority Jesus meant for us to follow?

Neb, I understand what you are saying and how you feel, but I believe that, sometimes, this "it isn't about Jesus" thing is very selective. Where is Jesus in the sports forum? Today's professional sports are a cesspool of violence, drug use and crime. Jesus is nowhere there, yet we have a forum for it.

Where is Jesus in the women's forums when certain things are discussed? Or the other forums that aren't exclusively "Jesus"?

I do not mean to be contentious. But I do think that if there is a standard to be applied, it should be applied across the board, and not just used when we don't want to hear something.

Read any thread in those forums and you wont see the ugliness that the conspiracy threads have had recently. Maybe you dont see Jesus in a discussion on who is going to win the world series, but neither do you see people ripping our country to shreds, or hurting other people's feelings. We are to edify the Body too. How are those conspiracy threads edifying the Body? I ignored them, but really after awhile it got old and wearisome. I was chased out of a forum because the threads eventually took over that forum. How many people were chased out of there, or even out of worthy itself by these threads? Yet some of them are repeatedly posted time and again. This forum is about God, Jesus, fellowship of believers. Fellowship is not in the conspiracy threads.

I dont care for censorship as a rule, oh but I am so happy those threads are gone.
