Bush supports cross-hating movement

If I have my facts correct, (and YOD, you'd probably know if I do or not)....I BELIEVE it was Adolph Hitler who said, "If you tell a big lie loud enough and often enough, people are more likely to believe it than if you tell a small one."

Side Note: YOD is our Trivial Pursuit expert. If I was on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, I'd ask YOD to be my "phone-a-friend"......he's a wealth of wisdom.

Well, I didn't intend this thread to turn into a bush thread, I just thought it ironic that if he did find some way to bring peace to the middle east he would not be rewarded for it by everyone.

I am not sure what you are asking in your question here, for somehow this has all got jumbled together. First of all if he can bring peace between the palistenin people and Israel, he should go for it with all his might.

If that question is meant for bush on the subject of the burying the cross movement, I would want him to make sure of what those movements are all about. Not very many on this thread seem to really know what it is all about at all and are just looking at the surface of the statement.

The actual movement has some valid reasons to bury the cross and it might be enlightening for everyone here to read through the postings I put up and especially watch the movie that I suggested. It will tell you of "Father Moon's" idea of the whole thing.

It bothers me that my Christian president is promoting something that was started by the Rev. Moon..... maybe you guys like his teachings, but as for me and my family we don't go for the Moon doctrines. Also I would very much like for him not to give the world the idea that Christians believe that my Father in Heaven is the same entity as the God of Islam. Beyond that I really don't care to go into....

You keep saying he pays only lip service, he's a phony, not a Christian - you won't believe he's a Christian until he DOES, not SAYS. So I asked you what, specifically, you want him to DO?? Rather than accusing him regularly, I'd like to hear what you want him to do. "Bring peace" is not specific nor realistic. He can't wave a magic wand and bring peace, right? So, what do you want him to DO to bring about peace? If you were in GB's shoes, what would you do, that he is not doing???

Also I would very much like for him not to give the world the idea that Christians believe that my Father in Heaven is the same entity as the God of Islam.

ICAM. Right there with you on that one. I know he doesn't believe that, but he acts like he believes it - way too much compromise. So, on that one, ITA with you.

Don't care to go into what? Solutions? Discussing things he could be doing that you think he should be doing? I don't mean to sound snotty, but it seems like all you want to do is bash him then. I'd rather acknowlege his faults and offer ideas and solutions. JMO.

Hitler did talk of this in Mein Kampf, in relation to a lie that he believed the Jewish people were promoting and had led to the downfall of the German government during the first world war. I can look the page number up if you wish Most people believe he was quoting his operating policy when in fact he was really badmouthing Jews for using the tactic. A lot of things about Hitler are jumbled up in history, if you read his books and the history of the time you'll actually find more evil than is generally associated with him. We most definitely don't want to go there.....

well he could stop the association with the pagans who attend the Bohemian Grove, he coud renounce any oaths he has with the Skull and Bones, He could stop promoting programs that come out of the teachings of Rev Moon, He could stop telling the world that My God and the god of islam are one and the same, he coud promote people in his adminstration that are pro-life, he could push much harder for abortion laws, I could go on for many many lines, but I won't.

Show me some do............

BTW, just in case you all don't understand why I bother to watch over people like the president maybe I should explain.

Other than the pledge of the flag,I have only taken three oaths in my life that I am aware of.

1. The oath of a boy scout to make myself a better person.

2. To follow my Savior wherever he leads me.

3. To uphold and defend the constitution of the United States.

What is happening in our nation today is basically under all three.

If you have taken any of these oaths, I would suggest you back up and give some real thought to what was said in each, for God will hold us accountable for them all.

Really? I haven't read Mein Kampf but I'd always heard that phrase attributed to Joseph Goebells so I did a quick internet search and though I don't know this site well enough to trust them with my life, they said this;

During the years 1936-38, the National Socialist Party of Germany was seeking was whereby they might justify their military and social actions. Among other things, Adolph Hitler wanted possession of Czechoslovakia, Austria, and Poland; and he wanted to annihilate the Jewish race. Joseph Goebells was assigned the responsibility of accomplishing these tasks, and that of creating good "reasons" for doing so. It was then that Goebells adopted the phrase: Tell a Lie That is Big Enough, and Repeat it Often Enough, and the Whole World Will Believe It. He assumed the world would not be gullible enough to believe "little lies," but the bigger the lie, the more likely it is that people would eventually accept it as true. By the use of misinformation, negative propaganda, movies, and various dramatic presentations, the Nazi Minister of Propaganda was successful beyond the generation's realization.

I 'm not at all surprized. I had said in a recent post that President Bush mocks God, and I had also said that his born again is not the born again of the bible. That is why I didn't vote. I couldn't vote for Kerry, a believer in abortion and same sex marriage, and I couldn't vote for Bush who mocks God. Expect more things like this from Bush.
