Jim, you are so morally warped, I am truly at a loss for words.  He that is ignorant, let him remain ignorant still..........

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You call me ignorant, but provide no basis to refute what I have said. :)

Jim,

What policy shall we change to appease the Muslim lands? What really do they want and their Religion demand?(I speak of men like Bin Laden.)

Remember to say that there is any other God beside allah is an attack on Islam. :)

Peace,

Dave

First off, we won't appease the fundamentalist like the Muslim Brotherhood, who see us as the great Satan and have as their mission statement, to make Islam the master of the world. However, the actions we have taken and the way we are handling it, have only helped these radical organizations, recruit, more for than they would've gotten otherwise. Actions say a lot in the middle east. The day we captured Saddam, if we had just hung him, and then went home, we would've sent a stronger and more powerful message throughout the middleeast, than trying to fight a politically correct war as we're doing now. Less lives would have been lost in the end.

Second, we need to be balanced in our support for Irreal and Palestinians. We need to condemn Israeli atrocities as much as the Palestinian atrocities. We must understand that the Palestinian's find themselves as displaced, dispositioned people, without hope and we must try to help them, in establishing an independent state.

We also need to get our military out of the middle east for the most part, which is offensive to Arabs, who are extremely xenophobic. However, at the same time must issue a strong message to the world, that the United States will respond with force like the world has never seen, if we are attacked again. We will defend our nation by whatever means necessary.

The situation we have set for ourselves right now, is going to make defusing the situation in Iraq, very difficult. Iraq, like much of the Middle East, has a culture that lives on revenge and there will be Iraqi's seeking revenge against us, for a long time to come.

Also, we need to stop being the arms dealer of the world. The weapons we provide, only end up in the wrong hands and cause more harm than good.

Above all else, we need to pray, as a nation. Peace in the Middle East will not come about without a deep commitment to the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

We need to seek justice for all, not just those who provide economic benefits to us.

That being said, I'm not so naive to think it will ever happen. Peace will only come when Christ brings it.

Jim,

Thank you brother for your reply. I do not think a Palestinian State will resolve anything save the destruction of Israel which is it's very Goal. Although God will never allow it.

As far as the current War? I believe it is accomplishing it's ultimate goal which was to get all the Terrorist's in one place and not right here in U.S.(Just my opinion)

We will never get anywhere making friends with an enemy sworn to aggresively kill us. I speak of the fascist Muslims.

As for other Arab Nations? There are many that we have diplomatic relations with and are working with to forward an agenda of Peace. First I believe we must rid the world of the Fascist Muslims. Otherwise that cancer will continue to fester and tell lies to those weaker than they themselves so as to foster the attitude that you do speak of.

Ridding the world of Israel or removing our support will only foster the notion that we are weak and capitulate when the going is tuff. The Bully mentality will take hold and we will be next.

I agree with hanging Saddam. Let his own people do it. That way the face of America is not on the justice. Rather the face of a terrorized people themselves released from that state they were in. Leaving is not an option at this point. There are over 30,000 terrorists there. It would just become a breeding ground for the next 9/11. Bush's father made the same mistake, Just leaving. It left Saddam to foster suicide bombing in Israel(Terrorism). It also left the Kurdish rebellion a sure and painful death.

I agree with supporting the Palestinian people. Not the leadership. Who to this day even after the death of their chief Terrorist, Arafat. Still seek the utter destruction of Israel as an admirable goal. The final solution.

You see this War has been going on for some time. What we begin to see is the U.S. finally taking up the battle after many decades of trying to appease an enemy who doesn't want Peace. When you begin to look at it in the larger context? You will see a picture evolving. It is not just a picture of Foreign Policy for one set Administration or even specifically the U.S.? For surely the Soviets have been Terrorized as well the Spainards and many others. Chiefly the Jews. Anyone who does not think along the lines of the fascist's and what they seek to accomplish in the world? Is threatened and then systematically attacked. I for one do not want to live under an agreement with the same people who attacked us on 9/11. Like the Spainards. You will Peace for a short time. Yet your covenant with death will come back to haunt you. :)

I agree we need to pray for the Middle East. Not only that ourselves. Chiefly ourseleves. A nation does not live for 200 years without a foreign aggressor invading without reason. Neither does it's Peace so easily leave it.

There was a Pastor in my home Church recently. He was from Columbia. He was urging us here in America to fight the good fight. To stop dabbling in the distraction of sin that we are now doing. To turn and seek the Lord's face. You see he explained. So goes America so goes the world. Especially South America. If our moral depravity continues? We only urge on more of the same. We foster the attitude that it is okay. He spoke of men coming to Columbia long ago from America to preach the Gospel. To encourage them to run the race. Yet now somehow he himself felt the need to encourage us. To run the race. To cast off all the distractions and stand up for Righteousness sake. So that a day will dawn when men can come out of the shadows of darkness worldwide and feel safe to seek Righteousness instead of bound in the sin they are already subject to. Under principalities and powers that are regional.

We my Brother serve the God of all Creation and He is not a Regional power. The Principalities are subject to Him. We are locked in a Mighty struggle. Good news, God wins. :)

Peace,

Dave

I've had it with people who live here and bad mouth our country. I had to tell one of my co-workers that America doors swing both way. In and out. How dare she or anyone say that America isn't doing enough for these poor people. I think the world need to stop looking at what other countries are doing and start looking at what they are not doing. May be the finger pointing would stop.

God Bless You

The reasoning that surrounds the initial amount given by America as being miserlyis utterly misleading. We initially gave a smaller amount of money for sure but we have donated much much more in goods needed to survive and people to distribute those supplies. That in itself is more important than money because a coin does not have the power to physically help a person in need. It does have th power to buy supplies but you still need someone to deliver it. So all this flap about America being cheap is just bumkiss.

I agree we do have some bad apples here in America that have portrayed Americans as less than nice. But you don't hear about the huge number of people who donate their time, etc to missionaries and to help other countries. If the papers made a bigger deal about that than our bad apples the world would have a better picture of Americans for sure. France has a short term memory evidently because they asked for and recieved help when the germans occupied their country and afterwards America gave food and money to help victims of the war. But evidently this is not enough for the greedy individuals who run France or countries like it.

One way the world could see the good America does is if we pulled back ALL aid to Everyone. Let them worry about their own people for a while and deal with disasters on their own. Then we will see them running crying help us please.

And another thing Jacqualine brought up a good point. The door to America swings BOTH ways. If you don't like it here then maybe you should find another country more to your liking than lying around griping how bad america is.

So you don't believe in fee speech, that doesn't sound particularly "American" to me. Why do you think your coworker haas no right to comment on the policies of the current American regime? Clearly you believeAmerica's much vaunted freedom needs to be curbed

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
