Hmmm...British Israelism...little gods? Sounds like they agree with Arnold Murray on some things, and he is definitely way out there with his views of the scriptures. It's so sad how some people can get mixed up in stuff like this, but thats all part of satan's plan....to destroy as many people as he can before his end....to take as many as possible with him.

This group sounds like a cult to me. I have to deal with family members (in laws) who are involved with a cult, and if your cousin is anything like them, he won't accept any piece of scripture you give him that goes against his beliefs. I pray that isn't how it is, however. If so, I suppose all we can do is pray for people like that, and talk to them whenever we can...whenever they will allow it. Never lose hope for him...never give up. God Bless.

Matt 7:21-23

22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'

The cult of British-Israelism, of course, believes that Great Britain fulfills all the promises re the nation of Israel. Even more so, they think the Anglo-Saxon people constitute the Lost Ten Tribes. However, the Ten Tribes are NOT lost in that they themselves know where they are and will be revealed openly when the Messiah does indeed return. All Twelve Tribes of Israel have prominent roles to play in the coming Millennium.

British-Israelism is not nearly as popular today as it seemed to be when the British Empire was in full sway. False cults come & false cults go.

GOD BLESS THE USA!

There are people who will come to you in the name of Jesus and tell you you've got it all wrong. I find myself flipflopping alot. It was really bad for me when people would give me these christian help books. For some reason I always wound up feeling worse than I did before I read them. My wife thinks I suffer from depression and that's why I can't stand firmly in my salvation. I know I have low self esteem and that could be why I can go from warm fuzzy safe in the Lords arms feelings to gloom and doom I think I'm gonna burn. I have learned to speak life for the most part but every now and then I revert.

God doesn't know evil.

Worldy humanistic wisdom tells us that we have to have self esteem, that we have to love ourselves, but what does the Bible tell us? The Bible tells us to "enter into the joy of the Lord", and "...in lowliness of mind, let each esteem others better than themselves". Self esteem is self centered, but as Christians we are called to be Christ centered, and this is where our true hope, and our true joy is found. We must not beat ourselves up, nor should we let others undermine the security that God has given us in Christ. Satan knows he can't get us back from the promises of God, but what he can do, and is very good at, is take away our joy so that our witness and testimony is not shared with others.

Just what is lawlessness?

What law is being referred to here?

Greetings Gerioke,

I want you to memorize a couple verses:

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Two simple verses to memorize. As you memorize them, place the EMPHASIS on each word and consider them carefully as you repeat these verses, i.e.:

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

and so on. You need to equip yourself with many verses in order to thwart the flaming arrows of the enemy. Just like Jesus responded to Satan in the desert. So study to show yourself approved.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
