Christians supporting Abortion??

I don't know if abortion is a sin or not.  For one the conscience doesn't boot up for quite awhile.  

The Bible speaks about shedding the blood of the innocent and if you do that the punishment is death and your own blood may be required.  Yes abortion is a sin because it is murder.

I prefer the term pro-murder. Pro-choice is just a satanical scheme to make women think the issue is about their rights and makes them not think about the life they are killing.

It's pretty easy for me. I have no opinion (because I have no power) over what another person does to their body, even if their is a child in it. However, it will never happen to my child. That somewhat changed when I watched a vide of a young woman going in undercover to these abortion clinics and asking questions. And hearing their answers shocked me.

 

1. If your 15 and the man that impregnanted you was over 21, they don't care and don't want to hear it. If they do, they will pretend they didnt.

2. Its all about money, its a gold mine. They do not sell anything, they do not buy anything, they perform a service and charge you and the government.

3. THE WORST, is if its botched, and the baby is alive, they will let it die on the counter by not giving it the attention it needs. Thats  hands down murder.

 

I am not a stoner, but I often said "its weird how breathing in smoke from a planet is illegal, yet ripping a living human from your body and killing it is not..."

I was once very active and outspoken against abortion. I still am against it, but approach it from a different perspective. All murder is wrong. Bible says so. Should we protest all murder in the way we protest abortion? Or let me put it this way, CAN we protest all murder the way we used t protest abortion (picket lines outside clinics)?

 

Why not ramp up the crisis pregnancy centers? You know, go pro-active for pro life... Sponsor ads informing the public that abortion is a murderous means to have rampant fornication. And see, that's the actual root of the problem... fornication. If fornication were done away with 99.99% of abortion would be too. Putting an end to fornication begins in our own homes, our churches, our schools, our towns and nations...

 

How are we ever going to put that Pandora back in its box?

got a source for that claim or is it a case of 79.9% of statistics are made up on the spot? Independent source please not just some unsourced claim from a group with an agenda.

Well it would not be the first time it happened. It has happened a number of times with babies that are born and then allowed to starve to death by court order.

Being pro-choice is not the same as being pro-abortion. One can support a person's right to choice yet dislike that they choice to have an abortion.

No we do not have to support anyone or anything that is against the Bible.  I do not see how a person who is a Christian can support that type of choice.  We as believers need to fight against this murder of the unborn.  If you support that person that supports abortion that you are actually supporting abortion.

 

well just as well the bible does not forbid allowing people to make their own choices. That is not in any way condoning the choice. There is a difference.

Personally, I would that my parents would have aborted me. I would have gladly skipped this life and all it's pain and suffering. But they did not. I am alive. I make the best of it.

The Jews had always considered life as starting at conception, and started counting a person's age from that time. Their birth date was their conception date, so to speak. So abortion had always been considered killing in their culture. It was not until the church spread to heathen cultures that this became an issue. One very early Christian writing the Didache, was written prior to the fall of Jeruselem and included the 10 commandments written as Thou shalt not kill nor commit an abortion. This manuscript was once included with the scriptures but was not canon. It was like a catechism. This fact is what convinced me that the church at the time of the apostles conisidered abortion an abomination to the Lord.

This slaughter of the innocents was one of the reasons that baal worship was considered so insideous, and it became part of greek and roman idolitry as well. Wherever there are temple prostitutes there are unwanted babies.

I remember when young women died horrible deaths from infection in illegal abortion clinics. Now babies are torn limb from limb and burned alive with acid in the course of removing them from the womb. Yes, they do feel the pain. I don't know which is more barbaric.

Some churches accept abortion only if necessary to save the life of the mother. I might go along with that if the danger were an immediate and a certain life threatening emergency, and an effort were made to save the baby through cesarean birth or inducing labor if possible.

 

It is true that Judaism considers that life begins at inception, but one added comment... Orthodox and Consevative Judaism and going back to Talmudic time (close to Jesus time), consider abortion lawful if the life of the mother is at risk.
