Destroying the Al-Aqsa mosque is waging conflict and destruction. Not peace. You sow conflict, you get conflict.

If you sow peace, then you get peace. You sow peace by using peace, love, and understanding, destroying a holy site for a religion does none of those three things.

Sowing peace has never worked for Israel.    The Arabs don't want peace.  There is nothing peaceful about the Arab agenda.  They don't want peace and love with Israel.

Al Aqsa is a mosque used to incite terrorism.  It does not deserve the status of a "holy site."  Just like the West Boro Baptists do not deserve to be called a "church."   Al Aqsa is not holy.  It is an abomination and since it is used to incite terror, it should be destroyed.  It is a strong symbol for the terrorists and Israel would be within their rights to get rid of it.

The Arabs want one thing and that is the destruction of Israel.    You can't have peace with someone who wants you to die simply because you exist and dare to breathe the same air as them.  You certainly can't have peace with someone who is not only willing to kill you, but even kill themselves and their own Children just to destroy you.  An enemy who will use their own children as cannon fodder, who will use their own children as human shields and teach them to blow themselves up, has no concept of love or understanding.

Any people that uses their own children as cannon fodder doesn't deserve a nation of their own.  That they can murder their own children proves they don't belong in the human race or on planet earth.

There is no way to have peace with these people.  The Muslims have made it clear openly and to the entire world that they want to see the destruction of Israel and they will not rest until it is done.  There is no possibility of peace.So... All you have left is to destroy them before they destroy you.  Israel needs to destroy the mosque because it is used to incite war.  It is not a house of prayer.  it is not sacred.  It is the headquarters for a death cult bent on Israel's destruction.

Sorry BE, but peace is not sown.  Peace is won and defended and enforced.   Israel needs to bring the Palestinians to their knees and respond to them with such ferocity that the Palestinians despair any further conflict.  That's when there will be some kind of peace.  Israel needs to act like the sovereign nation that it is, and clean house once and for all.Peace will come when Israel makes the price for terror higher than the Palestinians want to pay.  Israel needs to make it hurt and hurt bad.

They tried it your way, BE and all they got were dead Jews.  Sorry, but your policy doesn't work and only emboldens the terrorists.  That's what I meant when I said that liberalism succeeds not in defeating evil, but in only in providing a safe haven for evil to exist and thrive.  Western Liberalism is the terrorist's best friend.

Why is it that the only people who get lectured about love and understanding are victims???    Why do these lectures about love and tolerance only surface with people like you when the victims of terror decide to defend themselves against terror???   You didn't raise your voice about love and understanding after the Rabbi was shot and killed on the temple mount.  You only find your outrage at the suggestion that the Al Aqsa mosque which is used to incite terrorism needs to go.

Well, I wish they would tear it down.....   that would bring all this to a head and we would see many things as to who is who and who's god is great.

I'm surprised it hasn't been blown up yet. Seriously. We see video's of Palestinians fighting against the IDF using rocks as weapons, while IDF retaliates with automatic weapons fire so clearly Israel has the weaponry, as do those who are terrorists in its ranks, to blow the mosque straight to the feet of Allah. Why haven't they?

They bulldoze homes in the west bank, what's to stop them from detonating a sacred Muslim site and getting this over with?

That would be catastrophic and the cause a lot of violence. Hamas wants Israel to do that. It's not a good idea to do exactly what the person who wants to destroy you wants you to do.

i

It's coming no matter what and things will be better if they get on with it before Iran gets nuclear weapons..

The majority of Palestinians support and/or engage in terrorism.  The Palestinians in Gaza voted for Hamas to be their representative government in free and democratic elections.

By their vote, they were saying that Hamas represent their Palestinian values.   The Palestinians had seven groups to choose from and by an overwhelming majority, landslide vote, they voted for the most bloodthirsty regime that ran on a platform taken straight from Mein Kampf.

The children of Palestinians are raised to shahidim (martyrs).  They are raised to believe that Jews are not human. They are raised to want to murder Jews.   They are not raised with any notion of peace with the Jews.

Nahul the bee, (adult in a giant bee costume): "Listen my friend. Are there Jews where you are?"
Boy (Qais): "No. Not at the moment."
Nahul: "I heard they come to you every day."
Boy: "Yes, but not now."
Nahul: "Listen, friend; do like this with your hands [makes fists], and when they come to you, punch them; make their face red like a tomato."
Boy: "Allah willing, so that we can liberate Palestine."
Nahul: "Allah willing." ...

[Nahul talks to TV host, young girl named Rawan]
Nahul: "My friend Qais - anyway, Rawan, I tell him to take a stone, and when the Jews come, to take it and throw it at them."
Child host (Rawan): "Of course, the Jewish neighbors."
Nahul: "To smash them."
Child host: "If his neighbors are Jews or Zionists? Yes." ...

[Child host Rawan talks to Tulin, a girl in the studio.]
Child host Rawan: "Tulin, why do you want to be a police officer? Like who?"
Girl Tulin: "Like my uncle."
Child host: "Which uncle?"
Girl: "Ahmed."
Child host: "Is he a policeman?"
[Girl nods]
Child host: "OK, so what does a policeman do?"
Nahul (adult in giant bee costume): "He catches thieves, and people who make trouble."
Child host: "And shoots Jews. Right?"
Girl: "Yes."
Child host: "You want to be like him?"
[Girl nods]
Child host: "Allah willing, when you grow up."
Girl: "So that I can shoot Jews."
[Nahul the bee cheers]
Child host: "All of them? All of them?"
Girl: "Yes."
Child host: "Good."

The Palestinian culture is a culture of death and hate, not peace.  They can't even have peace with themselves. Recall how many Fatah members were murdered by Hamas.

Again, and invalid comparison.   You are not really grasping the dynamics of the ongoing war attrition being waged against Israel's existence.

I grasp it very well. Better than you do. Because when a rocket from Hamas kills an Israeli child, it is no different to the mother of that child than when Israeli artillery fire kills the someones child in Gaza. All human life is equal. Until it is treated like that, there will be no peace. Both sides are guilty of this.

No, no you don't.   You really have no clue.

Because when a rocket from Hamas kills an Israeli child, it is no different to the mother of that child than when Israeli artillery fire kills the someones child in Gaza. All human life is equal. Until it is treated like that, there will be no peace. Both sides are guilty of this.

Which again, shows that you really don't understand the dynamics of this conflict.

The difference between the two is that Hamas targets innocent people/children ON PURPOSE.  They purposely shoot their rockets into neighborhoods to kill children, and unarmed people.

Furthermore, Hamas and the Palestinians willingly put their children at risk.  They force their children to be human shields in order to ramp up the casualty rates so they can use that for propaganda points on the evening news.   In the Palestinian culture, the children are raised to want to die killing Jews, especially as martyrs.

Israel doesn't target civilians like Hamas does.  Israel takes every measure possible to minimize casualties like children and other noncombatants.   You have to make a moral distinction between Hamas who purposely targets noncombatants and Israel that does all it can to minimize civilian casualties.

The majority of children who die on the Palestinian side, die because they are put in harm's way and are not allowed to seek a safe haven away from the theater of battle.  Hamas and not Israel bears the sole blame for this.

Comparing Hamas with Israel is like comparing the arsonist with the fireman.   Israel is not a morally equal entity with Hamas.  Hamas are terrorists bent on Israel's destruction.  Israel is a sovereign nation that uses its military in self-defense against the terrorism of Hamas.

Sorry but you are batting zero on this, BE.   And by the way,  I have been studying this conflict for 25 years and I know waaaay more than you know about it and am far better equipped than you are to know and explain what is actually going on.  I have never lost a debate on Israel and I won't lose against you either.

The truth of the matter is that all that is needed for peace is for the Palestinians and the larger Arab/Muslim community to cease and desist any attempts to destroy Israel.   Israel isn't trying to destroy the Palestinians.  They have no desire to do so.  That you try to equate Israel's self-defense with terrorism is shameful and wholly inaccurate.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
