I just - someone give me some answers on this because I'm confused and I truly believe God either - doesn't like us or hates us and that's why he's not answering our prayers and requests or God doesn't give a crap about us and that's why he's ignoring us or - maybe, just maybe - DOES he exist?? I don't know but....It makes me wonder whether I still want to continue with this christian walk or not because I'm tired and fed up of praying to someone and the prayers are not working AT ALL.

I'm going to try and make this simple.

What I hear is a lot of anger.  So much so I think it is drowning out the Voice of God or even His attempts to help you.

God is not a slot machine where you drop a quarter in and wait to hit the jackpot.  No one said that this walk with the Lord would be easy.  We are in the world not of it so that means we have the same problems that those who do not know Christ have.  Our responses however are to be different.  And just because you don't hear from God doesn't mean He is not speaking.

The Bible says "Be still and know that I am God"  You have to put forth some effort to seek help and then listen to see where God wants to lead you.

I pray  you can find His Answer in your life.  Seek His Face, seek His Word, the then trust Him to bring it all to pass.

Because He Lives!  RustyAngeL

Well, wingnut-, Ezra, FresnoJoe, Kan and RustyAngel, everything you all have said has truly made me think, think, think and realize what you all were saying is true and correct. I also thought on how I have to have patience and continue to have faith, faith enough to believe that God will deliver and he will bless and I know this IS satan, trying to attack me seriously and bring me down, which is why I can't let him win - AT all. I will - tonight ask God for forgiveness for using the forbidden "GD" word (hopefully he will forgive me? Hopefully? lol) and tomorrow, I will be stronger in my faith, hope and patience and I will ask God to turn these enemies from sin to salvation, instead of asking for vengeance. I truly once again thank you for your replies because I felt SO tired and SO confused and discouraged that I didn't know what to do and I tried to talk about all this with my mother but she just likes to rebuke everything away as the devil - simply because I'm telling her my confusions and frustrations about God, ugh, so I can't talk to her about this stuff so that's why I came here....Anyway, thank you all so much. I truly appreciate it :)

In addition to the great above replies, I'd like to mention that these people aren't being blessed by God, they have acquired the possesions and life they have through serving the world. Satan can give us all the riches of the world while on Earth when we decide to live according to the world instead of living by the "Word". Our true treasures as a Christian awaits us in heaven for eternity.

We do suffer sometimes, there are always up and downs in life and I'm sure that there are many blessings coming towards you and your mom's life. Be patient and stand firm in your faith, believe and trust in Him, be at peace and leave it in His hands, love and forgive and you will be blessed.

Job 22

21 “Submit to God and be at peace with him;
in this way prosperity will come to you.
22 Accept instruction from his mouth
and lay up his words in your heart.

Romans 5
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Katrina your situation is something no one should have to endure. I am sorry that you are having these trials. I think it is important in these times to remember that Christ is good, and the world did not make his life on Earth easy either. I have been in similar situations. My mother and her friends were drug users rather than dealers, I recall sleeping in cars growing up, and my mother carrying me into the mall during the winter because it was too cold outside to be in the car and we needed to warm up.

What my experiences have taught me... and I may get a lot of disagreement here... is that it is much easier to be a Christian when all of your needs are met. When you have to do without, I have found it much harder to cling to faith. It can be difficult to reconcile a loving God who loves you, a God who can change and fix everything in your life, yet you are left to suffer and there is no reassuring voice, no feeling of heavenly love in your long dark night of the soul. I think that we all experience this to one degree or another, and some more than others. I see others who have never had to do without even in my own Church and I wonder how they would fare at times, and wonder why they were set up for life when I was not.

Here is what I came up with, we endure  harsher trials, not because he wants us to suffer, but because he wants us to be stronger. The question then changes to, for what great task are we being tempered for that we should have to suffer so when many of our fellow Christians do not? If that is not enough, remember that we are blessed to live in a country where we are not killed for our faith, as opposed to the 90 or so Christians kidnapped from a village in Syria just yesterday. Things could be undeniably worse. Remember also, we are not of this world. We are hand picked, to carry out his will and bring others to him. This world hates us for what we are, and we are on what amounts to a rescue mission of souls behind enemy lines right now.

The Lord is close. Just hang on.

Katrina, God was with you and your mom in the previous building...protecting you. He is in your circumstance now....but He has given us free will and he does not move in and take over our lives and make all things right....He may provide opportunity but you must take the steps to change your situation. God is not a puppet master pulling strings for us the moment we become Christian. He gives us the strength to shine His love no matter where we are. The best is yet to come for us as Christians but we live in a very imperfect world and choices made by us define our circumstance. Ask God to help you show His love to someone who is not loved and you will see how He can use you.

Make everything rosy once we become His...no, because the enemy of His and ours will attempt to make you want to turn away from God and go back to your old ways because God is not changing things to suit your desires ...but God is there to help you shine in whatever place you are. Help others and God will help you. This is not the answer you may have wanted... But ask Gid to show you what He wants from you....

God does answer your prayers...it may be NO, it may be YES, and it may be WAIT...you are not yet ready and need to learn to wait for Him to act....all in God's good and perfect time. You need to grow and mature as a Christian.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
