They wanted every expression of the Christian faith: Prayer, Bible reading, Bible clubs, Christmas plays, Christmas parties, anything that smacked of the Christian faith banned from schools. They wanted no competing ideologies with Islam, homosexuality and evolution. They are educating Children and in most cases indoctrinating children in regards to accepting homosexuality, and evolution. I don't know why Islam has become such a protected species in schools, but it has become one. Yet Islam stands squarely against homosexuality and many of the values the Left treasures, yet the Left promotes Islam while it seeks to purge Christianity from the public square under the banner of "separation of Church and State." I would homeschool or provide a private Christian education, but I would not let the public schools educate my children because they are overstepping their bounds. Public school should be for teaching mathematics, reading/writing/grammar, history, art, sports, music, and science. It is NOT the place for teaching religion of any kind. They should not ban religious expression, and kids should be free to pray and have Christmas parties, but I would not want someone else teaching my kids, theology/doctrine. Public schools are centers for radical, socialist, Leftist, communistic indoctrination. It is all about government propaganda and they are even trying to control what kids eat.
