Since God created the laws of physics and the laws of nature, is there anything we can learn about him from learning about them?

Sure you can.   God is a God of order and rationality.  He created laws that are predictable and the very existence of those laws show us that He is all wise and that He created a universe through which He can be investigated and, to some degree, known.  We call that "General Revelation."

Science reveals a lot about God's universe. The more I learn about science the more I see such a sophisticated order that could have only come about through intelligent design. Science proves God's existence, I think.

Physics reveals some of his nature, so does chemistry and biology. Why do you think God created Eve from Adam's rib? Because he wanted to use one of his own blueprints. It looks like Genesis revealed to us the nature of DNA long before we discovered it. Until we discovered it, using a rib to clone another human being made no sense.

Our scientific discoveries make sense of God's creation.

The more I studied biological sciences the more I came to the same conclusion--intelligent design. I would come home from college with more questions than I left with. Each day just awed me at the wisdom and intricacies of the human body and I would break down in worship of our God. It is stretching the imagination that an amoeba could be created by chance, let alone human beings which brings the chances to absolute impossibility..
