Are you saying that no one will sin during the 1000 years? Will the sin nature have been eradicated? How do you support that notion?

That's a separate issue.  We all agree that Satan and his cohorts will be bound.  But the evidence that the sin nature will exist in humanity is shown by Rev 20:7-9, in which, upon his release, Satan deceives all the nations on the earth and gathers a countless multitude against Christ and Israel.  This is the final rebellion, after which Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire, and all the enemies of Christ are eradicated.

It is almost unbelievable that such a scenario will occur, but we have God's truth before us, therefore it will indeed happen as shown.  The book of Ezekiel provides further insight into the Battle of Gog and Magog.

That is how I see it.  sad.gif

What specifically is the prize that you think Paul is referencing?   I don't need an online novel.  Just a straight answer.

BTW Matt. 24:13 isn't talking about salvation from sin.  It is using the Greek word for "saved"  in the sense of deliverance and is referring to those who are preserved to the end of the Tribulation.

Salvation.

Salvation is a gift.  It is never a prize.   Rom. 6:23.   Eph. 2:8,9

You have posted some novels yourself on here of what other people have to say about the bible.

It's takes courage for us to stand up ourselves and have our say.  Many don't because they are afraid of being mocked and ridiculed.

You ask me a question not because you are seeking truth, but only to mock.

Salvation is a gift.  It is never a prize.   Rom. 6:23.   Eph. 2:8,9

This is extremely important, because if salvation becomes a prize, we have "another gospel" and that is extremely dangerous.

Why is salvation a gift and not a reward? Because unless one is as perfect as God the Father, one cannot be saved (Mt 5:48).  Since no human being could meet this standard of perfection, God Himself became a Man, and lived the perfect life on earth for all humanity.  Jesus was the only Man who kept the Law perfectly. Then He took the curse of the Law upon Himself at the Cross, and nailed all of our sins and guilt to that Cross, and paid the full penalty for all our sins. His blood was shed for the remission of sins.  He made Himself an offering for sin.

Following that HE WAS RAISED AGAIN FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION (Rom 4:25).  Now sinners are justified by grace through faith (Eph 2:8,9), which means that we are regarded to be as righteous as Christ Himself.  How is this possible?  Because every believer receives the GIFT of the robe of Christ's righteousness, and we are made THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD in Him (2 Cor 5:21).

Now, when someone brings "another gospel" he or she becomes subject to God's wrath. We need to note carefully what Paul says regarding this (Gal 1:6-9):

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

It is an extremely serious matter to preach a gospel which makes salvation (eternal life) a prize.  Why?  Because God has declared that it is a GIFT (Rom 6:23):  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Last Daze

Only two thrown in the lake of fire at the coming.

1. The false Prophet

2. The Beast

Only one bound at the Coming.

1. The devil.

No mention of his evil spirits and angels being bound in that same place as he is, ....but clues as to where they will be sent and confined to.

Here are some scriptures for you.

Jeremiah 50:39   Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.

Jeremiah 50:40   As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.

Psalms 44:19   Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.

(Satan is - THE DRAGON.  The dragons are his angels and evil spirits.  The earth has been their playground.  Keep this in mind.)

Isaiah 34:13   And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.

Isaiah 35:7   And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

Isaiah 43:20   The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

The cities will become ruinous heaps.  In time grass and plants will grow over the rubble.  Wild Animals will dwell here and they will have plenty of food.  The scavengers will survive on all the corpses.  They will have plenty of food.  The evil spirits will be sent here.  They are happy because they are not destroyed...yet.

These cities will be out of bounds.  People will start fresh away from the cities.  The landscape of the earth will change.  Springs of water and rivers will pop up where there used to be desert.

The old cities can not be inhabited again.  There is too much death there.  It is filthy.  No man would want to live there, neither are they allowed.  It will stink from all the rotten bodies.  This is where those evil spirits belong for now, away from man.  They can not come out of these areas, nor interfere with man. They cannot do any more damage to the dead there. In time I guess man will be curious and will visit the out of bounds area's - maybe this place is kept there for when Satan is released from his prison.  He needs his helpers to round up man again to cause war again and attack the holy camp, so they are kept there for a future purpose to fulfill God's final plan.

This post was intended for someone who claims that the 1000 years coming where there peace and a kingdom ruling over a population is baloney.

I don't know where she has gone, but she's reading don't worry.

Instead of fighting her with insults,

I thought it a good idea to show her all the OT prophesies, to show her what she's missed in there.

Instead, a few of you are only worried about attacking my every word to catch me out.

These turn into arguments and distract from the point of this topic.  I can't see any good in this.

Start a new post and challenge me there.

If you don't like my long answers don't join in.  Simple.

I back up what I say to clarify because I don't want a million questions, but that's not working.

I speak from the spirit inside me and it just flows.  You can't dictate to me how to answer you.  That's bullying.

If I give you a simple "yes" or "no" then you'll ask "why" and so forth.

If I've given you a long answer, it's because I really want you to understand and have cared enough to answer you.

You give too many posts about other peoples opinions.  I want you to speak from your own heart, and make your own stand.

Your hiding behind others sometimes.  Go straight to the scriptures and work it out for yourself.  Challenge yourself.  Do  your own thinking.

Christ said to feed on "his flesh".  To feed on another's flesh is sin.  Don't go to the internet for answers, go straight to your bible and bring forth to this table what you see.

I promise I won't mock you if you can't see the meaning or don't agree.

Without brotherly love we have NOTHING.  Do you understand?

Terese,

Some more scriptures for you to ponder on Sister.

Isaiah 65:18   But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Isaiah 65:19   And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

Isaiah 65:20   There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

Isaiah 65:21   And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

Isaiah 65:22   They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

Isaiah 65:23   They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

Isaiah 65:24   And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Isaiah 65:25   The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
