2 Corinthians 5:1–8 (NASB95)

1 For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2 For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven,

3 inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked.

4 For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life.

5 Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.

6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord—

7 for we walk by faith, not by sight—

8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.

Romans 8:23 (NASB95)

23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.

1 Corinthians 5:5 (NASB95)

5 I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

These scriptures are not raising any discution about resuraction, and definately Paul is not referring to the book of revelation.

it says that we belong where Jesus is and the Father of Jesus is and our Father.

It tell us that even thought we are in our bodies here on earth we are one with them.

We can not leave the earth while we are still in our bodies to be with them were they are, but they can be with us here on earth while we are still on earth through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said to his disciples "I can not take you now, while you are still in your body, you must waite, when the time comes to die then I will take you to be with me.

This is the same as Paul says;

That we must wait  to die first, to be with Jesus, just like bopeep said "when we die we go to heavens".

God has bless us with a promise from the very beggining.

He said from "dust to dust".

He took dust to make the earthly body.

He does not need  dust to make a heavenly body for us. And definately not our old dust here on earth, that he has to look for our own specific dust here on earth and collect it and put it together and find it and some left some dust and some ashes, (been half burned), or looking in to the animals or wild birds dust or remains that ate some of us, to collect and----

like Putting the old self together  in a clay form (a type of a mold) then putting us in to that mold and making it a heavenly body,

And all that where will it happen here on earth or in heaven?

In the scripture it said that God has made provisions and he has a another body, not an earthly one waiting in the heavens for us,

As soon as we die, and go to heavens we imidiatly are cloth with the new body that has nothing to do with the earthly body , that earthly body perhaps has not decay yet or still in the morgue or still waiting to be burn, or still in the digestive trucks of some animals.

The destruction of his flesh I believe is referring to our sinful flesh.  If he gets kicked out, as a form of discipline, he would repent. Similar to Romans 7:14-25 talking about the sinful flesh.

Actually, I'm pretty darn positive about that.

The Power Of HIS Words

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (New Living Translation)

Just Boggles The Imagination

But I know that my defender lives, and afterwards, he will rise on the earth.

Even after my skin has been stripped off my body, I will see God in my own flesh.

I will see him with my own eyes, not with someone else's. My heart fails inside me! Job 19:25-27 (GOD'S WORD® Translation)

2nd Cor 5:1, it inform that there is something waiting for us, and we can not have it here while we are on earth, But first we must died, then God has another house or another body for us waiting, in haven.

The earthly is a tent, temporary, the heavenly Paul call it a house, because is a permanent one.

The point Paul is making is that, as soon as we leave this body, or died,   Imidiatly we go to be with Jesus and we are cloth with our new body the one Jesus has for us, nothing to do with the earthly one,

We are not call Christians by Jesus Christ or the Father.

We are believers in Jesus Christ, we are his own, children of the Heavenly Father,  as Jesus is so are we, he is righteous and we righteous also, he has the life of God, we have the life of God, he has a heavenly inheritance, we have a heavenly inheritance, he has the resurrection and he never dies, we have the resurrection and we will never died, Jesus did not say phycically but spiritually, we don't need to be resuracted because we are not dead, we are alive with him now, and Paul and Jesus said the same thing, that God can not take us now to be with him, we must wait to die first, because that's how we get separated or free from our bodies so we can be with Jesus, if you know where Jesus is then you know where you are going, imidiatly   after  you die.

When Jesus died he went to Hades and he descended in the very end so to show himself to all and preace the Gospel to all who had died before him, for three days.

The people of God the redeemed of Jesus christ don' t go there, they have the life in them, they are alive to God. Jesus went there to take the people out from there.  He is mot going to put his people there and have the devil supervise them,  when he has a place and an inheritance for them in heaven, things has change with Jesus Christ. We don' t have death in us, we have his life.

while we are in this body we long to be with him, because that's where we are going imediadly, Jesus takes us, or he sends his angels to take us to him.

He isn't here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, Luke 24:6 (New Living Translation)

Question

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 1 Corinthians 15:3-9 (English Standard Version)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
