Scribes and Pharisees

The  "dark light" of the  scribes, Pharisees, hypocrites and every cult has the potential to "shine" it's darkness upon any and all who would listen.
Many (not all) of the well known "seen" televangelists of our day in leadership positions block and mock God's Truths all the time. True as well in all Emergent, Ecumenical, Eucharistic churches in our present day.

Mat 6:23  But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

For the newborn in Christ as well as those mature in Christ, we all need to be "Fruit Inspectors" with the Truth of Christ we have in our lives. As a family in the past, we have been to more than a few places that told us not to "judge" peoples "fruit" at ALL. Generally this was coming from one of our modern day scribes, Pharisees, and hypocrites so that they could continue in their wicked endeavors.
No judgment at all is very unbiblical, and being "taught" through much of the Body today.
Righteous judgment, yes, ungodly judgment, no.

Mat 7:13-20
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The scribes, Pharisees, hypocrites and false profits of our day "generally" lump godly and ungodly judgments together, forbidding any kind of proper judgment.

Joh 7:24  Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

I thank God Almighty for growth in Him over the years, and look to expose these "dark light" men and women of our day, as they look to continue to lead the flock astray.
If their gangrene is allowed to continue without warning with their corrosive teachings, their * "canker" will continue to spread throughout the Body, whatever their false doctrine may be:

2Ti 2:16-18
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

Should they themselves not repent, and believe on Jesus Christ, their future in the Lake of Fire is foretold:

2Th 1:8-9
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Pray for each other Saints, look to study and grow in Christ and His rightly balanced Truth!

2Th 1:11-12
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2Ti 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
