There is no future that has been written ahead of time, but God has the power to make things happen in the future just as he desires because there is nothing powerful enough to stop him. God did not know who will be saved and who won't (he may know by now.... after all we've had plenty of time). He did not know before we were born if we would choose him or not. Maybe I'm being petty lol but I don't view God as not knowing something.

Proverbs 15:3 3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place,Keeping watch on the evil and the good. It is generally accepted that God is omniscient. I do not remember what this theology is called, but I believe it can not be proved by scripture. Scripture shows God is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. The same Greek is synonymous with establish, set, etc. Fixed is as good as any other word and it fits the context just as much as "placed." The point here in this passage is not that the future isn't fixed or established. The point is that God has the prerogative not to reveal that date to us. God has revealed as much as we need to know. The context clearly agrees with the use of the word "fixed." Aah...I am glad we agree now that the point is that God has the prerogative not to reveal the date to us. (I have underlined your statement above.) It means the text does not tell us whether the date has or has not been fixed. There is no deciding whether the NJKV or ESV translation is superior. So you still do not have a text that says that date IS fixed...

I believe that God came for me, through the Holy Spirit. I suppose one could say it required me to cooperate with His grace, so maybe God extends His love, but we have to accept His gracious gift. Welcome back to the truth, sister! "Cooperating with his grace" seems to me a good way to describe how it works.

I agree that the text also states it is God's prerogative not to reveal that fixed date to us. That you are not wanting to admit the obvious meaning the text shows that you really have a problem with being honest about what the text says. God always operates in the fullness of time. The future is not up in the air and God is not walking in the same ignorance of the matter that we are. You simply need to believe the Bible instead of trying to make the Bible fit your sloppy theology.
