So the myths continue with more lies about the Catholic Church removing the 2nd commandment?

Why do believers choose to lie about others like this, even after being shown they are wrong in their accusations?

Do they not realize this reflects badly on Christ and on christianity as a whole when they persistently insist on lying about others like this?

Do they not realize who the Father of Lies is?

And for those who might be so easily taken in by such false claims, the Catholic Church combines verses in the 10 commandments that protestants separate.

And for the two who have engaged in the perpetuating of this false claim above, I already addressed both of them regarding this false claim just a couple weeks ago here:

And I explained to both of them the various ways the three groups -  the Jews, Lutherans and Catholics, and Orthodox and Protestants -  separate the verses in the 10  commandments here:

Should we say the Protestants are deceitful for splitting the 10 commandments differently than the Jewish people do?

Again,

Here is the actual  truth of the matter:

The first commandment in the Lutheran and Catholic Churches is:

  • I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them.

We regular posters/ members/ all the Christians here and anywhere recognize the errors of the rcc posters ((when they post man's traditions that are so directly contrary to Scripture)),

but we cannot stop the errors of any((see others below)) of man's tradition from being posted.

Just keep reading SCRIPTURE.   SCRIPTURE IS SUFFICIENT to expose the lies of the rcc teachings, practices and doctrines.

MUSLIMS do not admit that Islam is an error.

HINDUS will probably never admit that Hinduism is an error.

So we don't expect anyone who practices any of the errors promoted by the rcc to admit they're contrary to Scripture either.

GO BACK TO , and STAY WITH SCRIPTURE.  PERIOD.

none of man's traditions , no pagan practices, no idolatry.  JUST SCRIPTURE.  PERIOD.

Having disagreements is one thing.

Lying is something else altogether.

Please stop lying about other people.

Ezra, I am not sure that what you said to SinnerSaved is dogmatically correct.  I think there is confusion around the whole dietary laws by reading these posts on each person's view.  When Jesus said that "all foods are clean", he was responding to the Pharisees tradition that expected His disciples to wash their hands before eating or the food would be considered unclean.  It was accurate for Jesus to say then,  "all food is clean, because He was only speaking about what G-d already designated as food.  Unclean animals were not designated as food.

So, the question has been asked.  Where did G-d suddenly designate unclean animals as food?  If we fall back to the vision of Peter, visions in the Bible were symbolic.  The Pharaoh's vision of the fat and thin cows, was not literal, but a symbol of the true meaning that there was to be 7 years of plenty and 7 years of famine.  Peter's vision had to do with the reference to Gentiles.  Gentiles were considered unclean and even referred to as dogs (an unclean animal).  Henceforth, Peter then goes to Cornelius's house, to tell this Gentile about the good news.

Even Jesus' reply to the Gentile woman, kneeling before him and asking for help, was "He came for the lost sheep of Israel and it was not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs."  He was quite familiar with this designation given to the Gentiles.  However, because of her great faith, He healed her daughter of demon possession.

So, while each view tosses back and forth various arguments.  There are scriptures to support SinnerSaved's position, and I do not think because we may not agree with one another on matters that can be confusing in Scripture that one should accuse others of false doctrine.

thank you shar ,

for that advise and comment, I was not able earlier to comment , for I was in cognito waitng a time out,

so I wanted to thank you for this statement, and I am affirm that , even though others think I am trying to bring in the dietary laws,

that they believe is no more, I think I am in line with the word of God, not trying to start a new movement , but the case is not hard to prove, but it is the traditions of men and the teachings of the mind set for years and years ,that many are not able to see the tree through the forrest, but I believe this is correct, for no one I know of has fought for this position, as a Christian, but I am not alone, for  I know others and teachings that show what I have brought to the table,

I would like to see how to get the six hundred plus laws that the levites had followed, just to see what they were,  only for notes and information,  only, not to place in operation as a belief, but I never saw it yet, if someone has a link to that it be great, thank you , for your time and for your advise, I appreciate that,

You can Google "The 613 commandments of the Torah"  Judaism 101 provides a list.  These were mostly put together by Rambam and other Jewish sources.  You will be quite busy when reading them.  Glad I don't have to keep all of them.

thank you for that info , my sister, I will read them to take note of what was the content and how they could come up with so many things, I think it is like our own government we find a law to  enforce and cover another law, and then we have a law for the laws we already have which with so many laws, that we restrict our selves and then we cannot be free anymore, but that's just my opinion.

thank you very much shar for pointing me in the right direction    :)

Exactly,  while Jesus encourage his followers to learn the traditions of the Pharisees, (hand washing before eating food, prayer before a meal and prayer after a meal, (God actually commanded prayer after the meal), he warned not to take them to the point of hypocrisy or demand them to be as commanding as the Holy Scriptures.   By the Pharisees commanding this, they were putting a burden on the people that was more than they could bear.

God wanted them, after they ate, and their stomachs were full, to give Him a blessing and remember His provisions.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
