Neither statement is true. You don't have to go to church to be saved, that is a works based salvation. 2nd - believer in whom? And, Scripture teaches that not all who say "Lord, Lord" will be saved. Even demons "believe."

Rather say it is not only in the church you can be saved (as in the case of apostle Paul once knew as Saul on his way to Damascus, Acts Chapter 9) but truly if you attend a Bible believing and practising church, you have the golden opportunity to be saved provided you humble yourself and repent of your sin. Acts 4:10-12

All believers are not christians simply because you can believe in anything outside Christ and this does not make you a christian. On the other hand, you become a believer by grace when you have Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

10:41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins."

By the way, who are believers we can boldly call christians? These are the people who have have repented of their sin, accepted and believed in Christ, those who are Christ's disciples.

Acts 5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Then it amounts to say: All 'christians' who are not in Christ are not believers, but all believers who are in HIM are christians.  John 15:5

I think that would raise the question then can one be a believer and not be in HIM?

YES IT IS POSSIBLE AND THAT IT IS IN EXISTENCE.

You are only a believer in Christ Jesus and be in HIM (CHRIST JESUS) as further stressed in verses below when you believe the gospel, repented of your sin, accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

Acts 3:19; Mark 1:14-15;  Acts 4:10-12

this is false and anyone that says this is not studying Gods word, nor knows, what Jesus was teaching,

Christians are believers that follow Christ, Christ followers,  going to church does not make you a Christian or saved, but surrendering to God in truth and in Spirit , and have repented to know that they are a sinner in need of a savior , many today  that call them selves Christians are not it is only a label or a group they are  a part of, but do not follow the teachings  and Gods commandments,

the church is what is called a assembly of a group to all believe the same, but it is up to the each and every single person , to have a relationship with Jesus , and knowing God sent His Son to die on the cross to save, and so it is a free gift of Grace, that we receive , but we do not accept this in vain , for we seek God, and become doers and not just hearers of the word, to be filled with the holy spirit, and to produce good fruit, by hearing of the word we come to repentance and the knowledge of the savior, then what you do with Jesus from there is between you and God, for to reject, or not follow as the bible, as we are to read and let the Spirit guide us, if we do not do that , then we are not following what we say we believe in.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
