I am not a spelling Nazi ,_a bit overused , this word . No Wonder the world is in such a bad way and cannot   be corrected on the bigger things , if correcting  bad spelling to the point  of incomprehension, makes you a Nazi .

Spelling is easy to correct , but the next time I won't bother to read at all, if praise only, is the 'motto '.

 

Interesting....  I didn't have trouble understanding it...  and spelling is not easy to correct on a phone sometimes. When you are pushed for time especially......   and if you don't want to read my posts with odd words when I'm on that little phone.....  we'll that is perfectly fine with me.

God must have a propose for that. His brothers and his mother knew  manythings about him. 

Perhaps also his disciples, but not only them, even Jesus was different from the other Leaders, that he did not record the things that he did, or every thing that he said. And he did not ask anyone of his disciples to do that.

Do not you find this very facinating, for he said things are going to be deferent this time, that the Holy Spirit will be with you and bring to your rememberance, and teach you all things. 

So there is nothing lost, it is more important to look ahead to what Jesus is now and his ministry now, and to where he is now.

Why do you want to know about those things is it realy important and for what reason, the biographies are for the dead not to forget their doings good or bad.

History is History, but Jesus is not History, he is still active here on earth though the Holy Spirit and with us and will always be. 

Jesus had a couture and was born in that culture, and was taught that culture, but he did not follow that culture all the time.

Do you understand why Jesus had to be born in that culture?

I'm of two minds about it.  Constantinee tried to get a consensus, and they DID agree on Jesus' divinity, but I have always thught that his motives were more political than spiritual.  IOW, he may have been looking for a way to calm some of the unrest in the empire.

What Constantine did was what the Roman empire usually did. He was the Emperor which decided Christianity could be a legal religion in the Empire, just like all other religions which came before within the Empire including Judaism. Rome unlike the Empires before, always looked to allow their newly conquered peoples to maintain the religions as possible. This is why Rome even allowed for certain exemptions to Judaism. Yes, it was political status quo in which Rome gained loyalty to Rome, and Roman peace. However, that Constantine  "favored Christianity" personally is not unusual. We see the same reaction to Paul's preaching here. It was those which were heads of Christians, which formed it's doctrine. Not Constantine.

If Christianity becoming legalized under Constantine is to be suspect, then so too "Judaism", especially after the temple was destroyed Rabbinic Talmudic). For it was also Rome that gave sanction and legality for a new Sanhedrin to be established at the city of Javneh ( also called Jamnia).

When it came to the council in the book of acts, The rules given for Gentiles were rules that were given to those holding status as "God Fearers" in the empire at that time. It is not hard to see these rules as "keeping with the apostles as being a new sect of Judaism" and their Gentile followers as the same. Those of course "legally exempted ALL  "Judaism/s" from Idol's. This was in keeping with Roman policy concerning that religion within it's empire.

As for the new Sanhedrin established by Rome.....They were they which made up of Pharisees and established oral law, as well the Jewish cannon. This Canon did not agree with the Septuagint which contained the apocrypha in the Jewish  scripture. And Christian Jew's lost Jewdaic status.
