We know that God gave the Gentiles a certain amount of time to rule the World & then God would set up His kingdom.

`...in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed;....`(Dan. 2: 44)

.............Times of Gentiles .............................I............God`s kingdom....

It seems to appear that there is the end of the Gentile rule & then the beginning of God`s rule.

When Jesus was asked about those `days` of the `end of the World` (system by the Gentiles, Matt. 24: 3) He says –

`And if those days had not been shortened, no flesh would be saved;.....` (Matt. 24: 22)

So we realise, (I believe) that God will shorten the time of the Gentiles rule, which then leaves a space till God`s kingdom.

.............Gentile Rulership.....................X... shortened....I......God`s kingdom....

Here are my thoughts on what occurs in that space.

.............Israel Persecuted.....................X....2 months.....I......New Year..........

X It marks the End of the Gentile`s rule. It does not go right up to God`s kingdom but is cut short by the Lord. He returns & deals with the Gentile Rulership, their army, Satan & his demons.

Shortened – The time before God`s kingdom is set up. It is of 2 months duration, I believe.

God`s Kingdom -  The Millennium, Israel`s New Year.

The 2 months.

Israel`s last month before their New Year is called Adar, & it is doubled every three years or so. This is to bring it into line with their feasts & to catch up with the solar calendar. Daniel shows us these 2 months.

`Blessed is he who waits, & comes to the 1, 290 days. Blessed is he who waits, & comes to the 1,335 days.` (Dan. 12: 11 & 12)

..........1,260 days......................X....30 days..&....30 days...I....15 days.....

God has specific purposes for those 2 months.

Adar 1 – 30 days (1,290)

  • The Lord connects with Israel. Israel mourns. (Zech. 12: 7 – 10)

  • The people of the nations are judged as to how they treated Israel. (Matt. 25: 31 – 46)

Adar 2 30 days (1,320)

The Lord sets up the kingdom.

King – David, regent, Priests & Rulers. (Jer. 30: 9  Isa. 66: 21  & Luke 19: 17)

Many people of Israel are brought from all over the world to the land of Israel. (Isa. 66: 20)

God`s Kingdom – 15th day the Feast of Tabernacles. (1,335)

`Blessed is he who waits, & comes to the 1,335 days.` (Dan. 12: 12)

`...everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, & to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.` (Zech. 14: 16)

`The 15th day of the seven month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles...` (Lev. 23: 34)

(Note the 7th month is the beginning of Israel`s New Year. In the millennium the Civil  (1st)& Religious months (7th) will come together in God`s kingdom, as the Lord is King & High Priest.)

What are your thoughts from scripture?

Marilyn.

Hi n2thelight,

Thank you for your comment. And how do you see the tribulation in relation to the Gentiles ruling the world?

Hello Marilyn

To answer your question, you must understand how I see Israel, not debating.

I see Israel as the Christian nations of the world today,I see the Jew's as Judah.

When the nation state of Israel became a nation again the good and the bad figs returned, the bad being those that call themselves Jew's but are not, they're imposters ,for the most part they rule the world now and they are waiting on the return of their father whom is satan.

The below can say how I see things better than I can explain it and I'm in agreement with it....

The times of the Gentiles are related to Jerusalem: ...  and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. (Lk 21:24b).

It is only when Christ returns the second time and establishes His rule on earth that the times of the Gentiles will come to an end.  Jerusalem will be purged and re-established, and the Promised Land will be strictly for the twelve tribes of Israel.  For details we have the book of Ezekiel.

Hi n2the light,

I didn`t mind your answer with a question. The Lord often did it. I see that God owns the world, all authority is from Him, & He has given the Gentiles rule (as per Great Image) till the last world ruler. And Ezra has given us the specific time when that will happen.

It is necessary to distinguish between Gentiles and Israel, but this becomes confusing unless we consider each aspect in its context.

  1. There are Gentiles by descent who became believers of the gospel in the first century and afterwards, and these are still Gentiles but can also be called spiritual Jews, or spiritual Israel.
  2. There are Gentiles who have dominion, but are not necessarily believers or true believers. This category are those spoken of with the term “the times of the Gentiles” as used in Luke 21:24.
  3. There are Jews by descent, some of them practicing the Jewish religion of the OT, and there are secular Jews. Some of these live in the land of Israel, some are in foreign lands. It is my belief that a remnant in the land of Israel will be converted at the return of Jesus and other Jews in the foreign lands will be regathered. The nation of Israel will then become the first dominion of the Kingdom of God, when Jesus rules over them and all the nations from the Throne of David in Jerusalem for 1000 years Isaiah 2:1-4, Micah 4:1-8, Zechariah 14, Acts 3:19-21.

Kind regards

Trevor

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
