Everyone that didn't expect this is in shock and running around shouting " the sky is falling " especially as so many other disgruntled nations are also wanting to take back some control. Scotland has always been a reluctant part of the UK since it is so far from the so called seat of power in London and has such a different culture ( even different holidays ) They have a different educational system, different problems so much less immigration etc etc Wales already has devolution so we can set many of our own laws without having to follow what the English want ( not as much as some would like but at least some ability to " rule ourselves " ) Ireland is already a divided nation and since it is not even physically connected to the rest of the UK I see no reason why north and south should not reunite and be a separate and independent nation once again As for the nonsense about this being some great Jewish conspiracy PIFFLE My daughters father in law is Jewish and believe me the population of Jews is tiny compared to almost any other immigrant population they are non existent The population is muslims however in the past 40 years is threatening to destabilise our way of life from what we are allowed to teach in schools to how we are allowed to live as we are never to offend these people for fear of reprisals ...well guess what it is NOT the Jewish people that have blown up trains and busses nor stabbed so many people claiming they have offended their religion. It is NOT the Jewish people who demand that schools. hospitals and restaurants cook and source food according to their beliefs and it is NOT the Jewish people who flaunt the laws on shop opening times since it doesn't conform to their practices. Jewish people do NOT demand the right to cover their faces when entering banks etc when everyone else has to be " seen " .. no one can walk into a bank wearing a motor cycle helmet for instance but you can go in looking like a bin bag with every bit of your face and body covered and thus avoid the cctv cameras that are to provide recognition in case of a robbery Please correct me if I am wrong but it is NOT the Jewish people who have tried and who keep trying to get their own courts to try all criminals and to set their own laws or demand that men can keep women in subjugation and have as many wives as they want as well as give away daughters without the female consent. I had a friend who tried to get away from her family as she was afraid of being sent to live with a man older than her grandfather ...she is dead now as she committed suicide rather than be forced into this " marriage " oh and she wasn't Jewish either . Can you guess what religion her family held ????? THIS issue of immigrants coming here and demanding to change our way of life was and still is THE most important issue in most peoples minds when we voted this week. We as a nation still have a long way to go till we find our way back to independence and many who feel they will lose out to greed will try to derail the process. Real refugees are supposed to seek asylum from the nearest "safe " country . Many of these refugees were not homeless when they came to the west and besides, most of them are men, not women and children. They left their wives and children behind for the most part. Islam has always wanted to conquer the west, but couldn't do it militarily, but has decided to do it demographically. And keep in mind that they are moving to, and causing trouble in countries that had nothing to do with Afghanistan or Iraq or Syria. That coupled with the EU and its self-destructive policies that force Europe to accept Islamic refugees without question, is part of the problem. Immigration is about more than just going to another country. It used to be that when someone immigrated to another country, they assimilated into that country's culture and way of life. People used to immigrate to the US in order to become Americans. But today, Muslims exploit immigration to come to the US in order force their bloodthirsty ideology on us and force us to accommodate Islam at the expense of our culture. They immigrate to the US and expect us to change for them. They don't come here to be Americans. They come here to force Islam on us. Same in Europe and especially Britain.
