If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in Glory. Therefore consider the members of your earthly body dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. For it is on account of these things that the wrath of God will come. Col. 2:23 - 3:1-6 In Colossians Paul wonderfully exhorts the people to move away from the heresies they were incumbered with, one of them being undue attention being given to outward observances such as feasts and fasts, new moons and sabbaths, 2:16. You can drive your point as hard as you wish but Ms. White had taken a stand on a vision she had seen, inflated without cause by her fleshly mind. Ms.White did not establish the Sabbath. God did. And until God changes it it stands. Therefore, where in scripture did God say to forget the Sabbath day? And by God's saying it I mean, Jesus Christ and his ministry. When did Jesus tell his apostles the 7th day, the Sabbath day was no longer holy? “It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church.” Priest Brady, in an address, reported in the Elizabeth, NJ ‘News’ on March 18, 1903. Here is church history even before Constantine (27 February c. 272 AD– 22 May 337 AD) was even alive. -Ignateus (Born c.35 , Died c.107) (http://www.ukapologetics.net/early.htm) (The Epistle of Ignatius to the Magnesians 8-10 (c. 110 A.D. There is a lot more quotes than this, but this will suffice. "Let us therefore no longer keep the Sabbath after the Jewish manner, and rejoice in days of idleness; " (Ignatius:Excerpted chapter 9 http://www.pseudepigrapha.com/LostBooks/ignatius2magnesians.htm) St. Ignatius of AntiochIn this letter by the early Church Father the Catholic Church is mentioned by name.
