When was trump elected head of Israel? Shouldnt that be the decision of israel and not the us?

Sanhedrin to Trump and Putin: Take Up Your Cyrus-Like Roles and Rebuild the Temple

According to reports out of Israel, the Nascent Sanhedrin—a group of rabbis attempting to restore biblical governance to their nation—has sent letters to Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, urging them to "join forces and fulfill their biblically mandated roles by rebuilding the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem."

The letters were first reported by BreakingIsraelNews, which quotes Rabbi Prof. Hillel Weiss, a professor of Hebrew literature who is a member of the Sanhedrin's Communications Committee. He serves as the Hebrew spokesman for the Sanhedrin.

The report states:

[T]he election of Trump, who has promised to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, coupled with Putin's expressed desire for the Temple to be rebuilt, prompted the Jewish court to send a letter offering the two the opportunity to act as modern-day Cyrus figures: non-Jewish kings who recognize the importance of Israel and the Temple ...

Rabbi Weiss explained that the U.S. elections have made the eternal Jewish dream a very real possibility.

"We are poised to rebuild the Temple. The political conditions today, in which the two most important national leaders in the world support the Jewish right to Jerusalem as their spiritual inheritance, is historically unprecedented," Rabbi Weiss told Breaking Israel News.

The Sanhedrin's letter notes that Trump's upset victory was due to his support of Jerusalem, and reminds Trump of his campaign promise to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, effectively recognizing the city as the capital of Israel. The Jerusalem Embassy Act, passed in Congress in 1995, initiated the moving of the embassy, but has been vetoed since every American president since. The Sanhedrin calls on Trump to withhold the veto after he takes office.

According to the report, the Sanhedrin have reminded Putin of his 2012 visit to the Western Wall, where he prayed and read from from a Russian-Hebrew book of Psalms. He reportedly told an observer he prayed for the the Temple to be built.

 

It is going to happen, sooner or later.

The blood moons are saying something to us. Trump winning the election makes life in Israel radically different. The US Embassy will be moved  from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and the launch of the building of the third temple will happen during Trump's administration.  This is a new day and the blood moons pointed to that.

She's right about the Harbingers and peace and safety though. It only seems, that nothing is happening after the blood moons, but in reality the word harbinger is only signs of soon coming judgment..http://www.dictionary.com/browse/harbinger?s=t

Israel is going to celebrate 70 years anniversary on 14 May 2018. Somemore there is year 5777 in Jewish Calendar now. So, I believe that The Third Temple will be rebuilt within these few years. 

Now there is a mosque on the top of the Temple Mountain so, you know what will be going to happen if the Jewish Temple being built to replace the mosque. Muslims and secular world will have excuses to persecute Christians and Jews.

It's very interesting, and I believe the 3rd Temple possibly will be started in the not too distant future. From my understanding, they have 'all' the instruments needed for the Temple and the source for the unblemished red heifer. I'm wondering how long the construction is going to take for the 3rd Temple for obvious reasons? From what I've read, it will not be anywhere near the size and magnificence of the 2nd Temple, so I assume it will not take 47 years to complete?

No one is positive where the 2nd Temple actually stood for sure, no one's been able to verify it through excavations. There's evidence the 'wailing wall' thought to be a wall of the 2nd Temple could be a Roman wall? There's so many ways this could play out for the advent of the Third Temple. An earthquake that levels the Dome of the Rock, the discovery the the actual Temple Mount is not under the Islam's Holy site, United Nations / political intervention and negotiation, the Psalm 83 War, etc. 

We know it's going to have to happen for sure, and it's going to be interesting how God is going to allow it.
