My Sunday School leader telling us we have to vote for Trump and that Trump is the candidate for the Christians. My issue was not with what was said about Mr. Trump. But that it was being said in a church Sunday School class. Something that I have never in my life seen before. Then when I told our leader that I do not think we should be talking about that stuff in Sunday School class, I was dismissed and she went right on talking about it. It is all just weird. And something about it just feels strange with me. There is something very strange about a person's very "Christian-ness" being tied to a human. But it is where we have arrived at in this country and it is a very bad place for the church to be in. If Trump turns out not to be who they think he is then Christianity itself loses credibility. King David was an adulterous murder, Moses was a hot headed murderer and kind of an introvert, Abraham tended to lie a lot, Gideon was kind of a coward.... he chose all kinds of people to fulfill his will. Most likely that's why he bombed the ISIS camp in Libya so people could not talk to the people responsible for Benghazi and who helped set it up. Might have got the whole lot of them shot.
