That is all fine and well but what if there are no paying jobs. Or maybe too many people and not enough jobs? Maybe not as many tourist  are going to Hawaii ? In other words, before I go off on a rant about people being on welfare I want to know more about what is going on in Hawaii. I'm going to go google stuff see what more I can find out on this.

Most of the time there are paying jobs and plenty of them.  More often than not in this country, the problem is that there are too many people used to living off of the government and don't want to work.   I know of 2nd and 3rd generation welfare recipients who learned how to game the system from their parents and grandparents.

And if, just for the sake of argument, there are not enough jobs to around, then with what are you going to pay for everyone else to have a basic, living income?   Where is the tax revenue going to come from?   If there are not enough jobs, then there won't be enough people pay the taxes needed to fund everyone else without a job AND still have enough revenue left over to run the state.

This is a bad idea.  It is a socialist idea and it just won't work.

This was just a fast search as I am sure there is more to the story. But many of your reactions to this  makes me wonder why Christians are so quick to judge people on welfare and complain about them taking your money. All I wanted was more info as to the reason why this was going on, and already many here are finding disagreement with me.   I will look into this more when I have more time. For now I remain neutral on the topic.

No amount of researching what the states and countries are doing is likely to reveal the beast system behind it.

Who said anything about complaining about providing people with necessities ?

Just realize the beast system is not godly, right, or righteous - not Christian in any sense of God's Word at all....

it is all more like Egypt/  Babylon/  with the enemy "in charge", as YHWH permits for now.... as YHWH says in His Word.

Only a few churches are doing what YHWH says to do,  training disciples and living the Way of Jesus, as Jesus trained all His disciples to do.

Okay after a very  fast google search as I am pressed for time because it is laundry/housework day for me. It seem many of the jobs in Hawaii are becoming  automated. Leaving people unable to be employed. This was just a fast search as I am sure there is more to the story. But many of your reactions to this  makes me wonder why Christians are so quick to judge people on welfare and complain about them taking your money. The reason we are "judging" some people on Welfare is because they are able-bodied and able to find work.  There is work out there.  In my town, they can find jobs for people suffering from things like Down's Syndrome and those suffer from mental and physical handicaps.  They want to work and they can find work.   If a disabled person can find a job, then able-bodied people can find work.   Not everything can be automated, and not every company can afford automation.

Right now, anyone wanting to learn a skill can learn it.  There are all kinds of jobs out there, millions of jobs that require no college degree that are not getting filled.   And this is true all across the country.  There is work to be found, if people want to get off their lazy rear end and look for the jobs.  They may be jobs where you have to get up early and sweat through your shirt, but there are jobs to be hand and many of them will offer on-the-job-training.   No  college degree required.

It is no more socialism than welfare or food stamps or Medicare.

I didn't say it was more so...I also never said those wernt socialism. I've never been a fan of government run programs such as those. Those have rose up, because u unfortunately the church has failed in taking care of the needy, and allowed the government to step in.

There is to be no discrimination based on nationality of any percentage.

That is not true at all.  People get perks/benefits for being more than a certain percentage of native American.

It has come to my attention that I was out of line with a few things that I said. I think it was the Holy Spirit that brought it to my attention. So I apologize.

With that said  I am interesting in this topic and I do wish to seek out more info. Thank you for your understanding and God Bless. :)

Laws and Welfare Reform Overview

A variety of Federal nondiscrimination laws require that Federally assisted programs be administered in a manner that does not discriminate or have the effect of discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, sex, age, religion or political belief.

The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (hereafter referred to as PRWORA) specifically incorporates Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended (Title VI), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (Section 504), the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Title VI, Section 504 and the Age Discrimination Act, along with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended (Title IX), continue to apply to States and other public and private entities that receive Federal financial assistance and that provide funds, training, food stamps, and other services and benefits under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) provisions of the PRWORA.

Correct you cannot discriminate based upon those attributes, but you can reward people based upon those attributes.

I am not sure how rewarding some and not others based on attributes, is NOT discrimination. Let's, give a 25% tax credit to all who are anything but black. That would not be discrimination?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
