I hope and pray that a Christian leader such as Billy Graham, when he dies, receives the same type of treatment as the pope. It's not like the pope is God or anything. I really don't appreciate or respect the type of attention the pope's death has been receiving. I have to say I've never been particularly impressed by the man.

I hope he does not get the same.... here is why, and not trying to be disrespectful to anyone, including the pope, just stating what I was told this past friday morning when i was woke up a couple hours before i normally get up....

I woke up in prayer, and was praying for my wife, who was working and also for my step daughter and her new baby and her boy friend........ I was prompted to turn on the TV ( which i normally do not turn it on that early for the junk that is usually on ) all four broadcast stations were showing thousands of people at the funeral, and the comentator was remarking on what was going on.... and the tanslator was translating the mass..........

now, before i continue, I was raised Catholic, and was catholic during the days of the latin mass and I chose to change over, my fathers side of the family is still catholic and i love them dearly, and there are some of them that are saved (taken Christ as their Lord and Savior )......

now, as i was watching this, thousands on camera, I was seeing millions of people, clapping...........

the comentator was saying that this is in honor of the Pope.......

as i was watching this, I heard these words:

needless to say I had chills running down my spine......

I have been reluctant to share this more then I have.

who are we really worshipping? the pope is nothing more now then an empty shell, why are people spending millions of dollars to see an empty shell? even this morning, on the news, an american got word yesterday that the tomb was open for viewing, and he dropped everything to get his plane ticket and go see it, he was standing there.....

let me ask this, again, not trying to be disrespectful, but really we need to know where our hearts really are, for we do not have time to mess around......

what would happen to this world if all those that were clapping and praising and honoring the Pope, were praising and honoring God and worshipping God at that time combined with those that were worshiping the Lord God... all at the same time??

what would happen if everyone that proclaims to be Christian and Catholic would turn and Praise and honor and worship the Lord for the same time frame that the funeral of the pope took or the same time the funeral of Reagan took, what would happen to this world?????

dont get me wrong, I love Reagan, I love the pope, but they are just men, not gots....

as the media placed the pope, they were and are placing the Pope on the same level as Jesus.... sorry, I will fight that tooth and nail....

some say the pope was a good man.... the Bible says there are none good except the Father...... many are calling the pope Holy Father..... sorry, I only have one Father, and it is not a man, it is God Almighty that is my Father......

Matthew 26 tells us about who we should call Father..... by calling the pope Holy Father, we are placing him on the same plane as God.....

do we realy want to elevate a man up to the level of god?

I hope not.

as the Lord, Jesus the Christ, told us, let the dead bury the dead......

let us follow Christ, not a man....

there are many that are doing this in many many denominations, people are following a man not Christ, examples are Benny Hinn, Billy Graham, David Wilkerson, Pat Boone, Buchannon..... what happens is we have people with groupies..... and by placing some one on a pedistal we are setting them and our selves up for a major fall......

i am saying dont turn to man, do not rely on man for your salvation, there is only one way to the Father, and it has nothing to do with man, or woman......

it has everything to do with Jesus, the Christ, and no one else....

Our God, My Father, Is the Only God that Lives, and He is a Jealous God, and will not allow anyone to be placed before Him.....

as a final note, I want to say that if a person is not 1000000% sure they are ready, then they need to get it right with God, thru Jesus...... and they do not have to rely on man to do this, they can do it all by their lonesome.....

1. admit their guilt, confess their sins,

2. repent from their ways,

3 ask for forgivness thru the blood of Christ,

4. ask the Lord Jesus into their hearts.

5. and follow Jesus the rest of their lives.

6. grow closer to Christ, grow grow grow

7. keep the commandments of the Lord

if you have not asked Christ into your heart, now is the time to do it. I do not care that you have been in church all your life, if you have not personally asked the Lord into your Heart as your personal Lord and Savior, you have to do that. I can not do that for you, it is you that has to take that step..... I do not care if you are Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Nazarine, Pentacostal, Catholic, AoG, it does not matter,

if you have not said: Lord I want you as my Lord and Savior, I want You to make my life new, to wash away my sinful nature, I want to turn away from the old ways and be made new, if you have not asked the Lord to be LOrd of your life, if you have not accepted Jesus as the one true messiah, if you have not invited Him in, you have not secured your salvation.....

AGAIN, MAN CAN NOT DO A THING FOR YOU........
