well you would have to go back to your first response to the John 17 quote in the begening of this thread. Im on a phone so navigation and laying it out is above my ability. If you can go back and find it. You seemed Lost of understanding for the purposes of our Lord in John 17. I may have just misunderstood your argument to the devine truth that to know God and Christ is eternal life.

JESUS CHRIST said that I am for the Jews only, or I have come to the Jews only. 

JESUS repeat that more than once, even the time when he was with the Sarophinician woman. 

And then after the Cross within the New Covenant he never repeat those words again, to the contrary he said. We are in the New Covenant, now I am the Lord of Lords and the judge of all, every knee shall bow down to me.

IF a man loves me HE keeps my sayings.  SO the question is ......WHICH sayings of his BOTHER YOU.  examine thyself.   in the mean while

read them sayings over and over and fall in utter love with them ALL.   let us not omit or twist any.   NOT a one.   which sayings of JESUS bother you.

be honest now.    lie not one to another.  Which of his sayings have you broken and think WELL that was just for the jews.    Lets keep it honest.

Not to be misanderdood, after the Cross and the resurection, Jesus Christ gave new instructions to his disciples. He said; go into the whole world and preach the good News the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the commant of Christ Jesus, in the New Covenant. 

Before the Cross JESUS ministry was within the old Covenant. 

So he said that I have come for the Jews only, he minister only to the Jews, including the Gallilians, and of course the procilites. 

During that time he sent his disciples on a mission, and he gave them strict orders, go only to the Jewish villages, he was in the old, after the resurrection he was in the New Covenant, and he said go to the whole world. 

About the lost sheep of Israel. 

In the old Covenant they were some situations where there was not reconciliation, from some sins. 

Djsobeing the Sabath,  blaspheme, not keeping the Passover, unleavened bread, aduldery, and so on. 

THOSE People became the lost sheep of Israel, they were cut off. 

Some of those like not keeping the Passover and the unleavened bread, they had to wait for the next year. 

The Samaritans who kept the old traditions to worship on the mountain the old place of the Tabernacle, were the Lost sheep of Israel, they were cut off, there was no recollection seremonies for them.

JESUS CHRIST he included them, in the New Covenant, they from the family of Jacob, everyone from the family of Jacob was included in the old Covenant, unlikely the other sons of Abraham and Esauh who were excluded. JESUS pronounced good news to them, it meant to the Lost sheep that he was the CHRIST, because they were waiting for the CHRIST , that's their hope to do the reconciliation, I don't know how they believe this will happen. 

More than once JESUS said that he was for the Jews only, within the old, because Jesus was their Lord God, who left everything to come as he promised to be with them, "Emmanuel" , he told them I am the Lord of the Sabbath, he said I heal on the Sabath, and who can JUDGE me, I am your Lord and your judge, and your rejected king. 

Before he comes in the flesh he kept the Sabbath he did not do anything. 

There was the work of the CHRIST to be done, and the new day to come, where the sun never goes down, the light of JESUS CHRIST, but those works were reserve for the CHRIST to be, himself as Jesus. 

So JESUS in the old working on the Sabath, but not sinning, because of him doing the works of the CHRIST, him been the Lord God before he left everything to be Jesus Christ. 

A star appearing from the East, the light of the world. 

The prisoners sitting in the dark show a great light, when Jesus at the time of his death went to the dead and brought the good news of their freedom, those who believe in him , they were redeemed and left the place of the dead together with JESUS. 

They believed out of the body because they had died before the Cross, by faith alone, for them and the same for everyone one, even for us, who believe while we are still living. 

They were saved without the works of the flesh, how can they have works of the flesh, JESUS CHRIST found them without their bodies, but he also was without his body when he preach to them the day of the Lords favor the day of the forgiveness of sins, the day of the Cross the new day the Lord had made , the day of JESUS CHRIST.

God instructed them to be a witness to do what He planned to do when he came. And made one eternal sacrafice for all.  

Preist of flesh made intercession for the flesh of Israel and sacraficed for their nation. Gentiles could and did enter the  mosaic covenant. Ruth is an example.

I am glad that you have raised this subject about the Attonmen in the old Covenant, and compate with the Attonmen in the New Covenant. 

In the old the High Priest had to make Attonmen for himself first, and he was declared righteous before God. 

And then he continued to make Attonmen for the people, in his breast plate they were the names of the twelve tribes, so he can only make Attonmen for the twelve tribes he was the High Priest of the twelve tribes only. 

So the people he made Attonmen were partakers of his righteousness, as he was so they were also, he had righteousness, and so they also, his righteousness was good till the next Attonmen, and also their righteousness was good till the next Attonmen. 

From that moment on everyone had to mantained their own righteousness, if anyone sin, he had to make his individual Attonmen to remain righteous before the Lord. 

They High Priest didn't have Eternal Life, so they also didn't have Eternal Life. 

The high priest was separated from their God, and so they also were separated from God.

The High Priest didn't have a Heavenly inheritance and they also didn't have a Heavenly inheritance. 

The High Priest had the promise of the Heavenly inheritance, and also they had the same promise. 

Abraham had the promise of one day he will be together with his Lord God, and understandood that he had to descent to the place assing him and his descendants, known as the Bossom of Abraham, till their Lord God will also descent to the Bossom of Abraham at his death and then he will take them out from there to be with him in his new inheritance, the Heavenly one. 

Jesus said: Abraham has seen my day and he has rejoice. 

God gave JESUS the Heaven for his inheritance, and we Co-heirs with him. 

JESUS knew that before he died, that's why he said where I am, you will also be with me. 

As Jesus is, so are we, he is righteous, we are righteous. 

He has the Eternal Life we have the Eternal Life. 

If we sin we don't need to make our own Attonmen for our sin, because we are under the Eternal Founten of his blood.

JESUS CHRIST was always righteous and had the Life of God in him always, he was conceived with it. 

He was never separated from God when he lived, only at the time of his death. 

But he continued to be righteous, and continue to be in the LIFE.

Because only him could descent to the heart of the Earth, because of him been a man, and their was only one inheritance that time for man the descenting inheritance, no one ascent into Heaven before JESUS CHRIST. 

JESUS CHRIST open the way, and everyone else follows him. As the disciples said, Grace and Faith came through Jesus Christ. 

When we believe, we are as he is, we partake of the righteousness of our High Priest, and also of his Eternal Life, and of his Heavenly inheritance. 

The wages of Sin is no Death to us, we are continuously under his blood, and the Eternal Life. 

Death cannot come to us , sting us, because of sin, nothing can separate us from the JESUS CHRIST and God. 

Only if we renounce our faith in him and stopped believing, but we still have the chance to reconcile back to him till our last breath, always.
