I am afraid not all of us understand the 'dispensation' view of things.

All I know is that Yeshua (the WORD, God) did miracles in the OT and we also have them recorded in the NT. I have seen miracles today and the various gifts and things like that have been in operation in a more abundant manner since Pentecost. "You will do greater works than these when I go to my Father..."

I just recently reacquired  the work of Clarence Larkin "Dispensational Truth", it has been published anew. Plus we did find the early edition just in the past month, my brother in law has latched onto it with enthusiasm for study. 

Larkin's time before time and time after time dispensations have helped me to see and organize my own understandings, as I read study and pray tying to learn my creators will for my life.

Ahh. I think technically there may be the Passover, the other yearly Sabbath and then maybe the weekly Sabbath all in a seven day period. Quite possible.

Knowing the Lord's penchant for humor and good-will, with a little hyperbole thrown in, it would not surprise me if He really did organize it so that the most important of all things, His Death and Resurrection, would be seen in such a way that even we could see its gravity and greatness.

That is why I am so convinced that most of the modern scriptures still carries that hatred and anti-Semitic emotion of the first century in its misleading translations and scholarship. This only got worse during the later centuries; yet the Lord still kept most of its meanings alive for us. He also gave us good minds to unravel this mess into true understanding and enlightenment.

Well,  a lot of people thought he was not of sound mind,  but that doesn't matter.  And he was quite accurate about some things, maybe many things, but that doesn't matter.  The problem was he was of split mind,  like others posting recently.   With part of his life he wanted to serve God.   He just wouldn't serve God with His whole life, whole heart, whole soul and all of his strength.  That is the eternal problem (as Jesus puts it).    Like most others, no matter where they are,   he was not willing to give up everything to be a disciple - his heart was set on keeping the riches on this earth (money and what money buys),   and as long as someone,  anyone,   serves mammon,  they cannot serve God ...... Jesus says this still today, every day.

Well CH7 got me out of mammon inc. And just surviving on 2/3 rds of my (earned) SSA, I guess there is some hope for me yet!

Yahweh's Word is Pure, Enlightening the soul.  There is no hatred and no anti-Semitic emotion in His Word.  When He Reveals Scripture to anyone,  when Yahweh Grants Understanding,  there is no emotional hatred nor anti-Semitism involved at all.

When men try to understand apart from Yahweh,   they get all messed up, whether with emotional hatred OR emotional love (not God's love).   It doesn't matter what man's scholarship is or says or does - man's wisdom and knowledge cannot comprehend nor see the Truth nor heaven nor God's Way (as God's Word Clearly Says).

Remember, pray always , read, continue to read, Jesus' Words in Scripture, and be a DOER of His Word, not just a reader/hearer.   When He told the disciples something,  it was truth.  Same today.  Most of His disciples left Him (walked away from Him) after being with Him for a while.  They didn't want to give up everything, so they left Him, saying His Words were too hard to bear.    Same with most people today.
