Let's go easy. I think what she is trying to say is that, to her, most men are big on sex and think most of the time with.........shall we say something other than their brain. A man and a woman meet on the sidewalk and are talking. 9 out of 10 women are interested in the conversation, "how's your wife and kids?" etc. But 9 out of 10 men have some sort of thought about whether she is "looking good" etc.

Well as long as were keeping it a civil discussion...

I have never had a problem keeping my eyes were they belong. I have seen women who are way under dressed and actually find it offense.

I love my wife and have eyes for her only. She is the most attractive woman to me and that is how it should be.

I am a pretty observant guy when I am out and about but not because I am searching for anything. I like to know what is going on around me as I deal with the general public all day.

I see a lot of people and yes a lot of women. But there is no "sexual" attraction involved with what I see. As I said some of the things I see are offensive to me.

The same applies to young men walking around with their pants hanging down and underwear showing. I don't mind baggy pants but there are limits.

I do have a problem with body exposure for women, married or single. With the exception of married women and it being to their husbands. But to do so in the general public is not a good idea.

If there is something that my wife does when it comes to dress that I feel exposes her in a way that I dislike or makes me feel uncomfortable then I will let her know. It is then up to her to decide how she will respond to my perception of the situation.

I respect my wife and it stops there. If there was something just outright blatant then I would be more concerned about her state of mind not mine. A woman knows exactly what she is wearing and how it makes her look. If the clothing is provocative she is undeniably aware of it.

It still boils down to taste and to be honest with you as the years go by I think good taste is one of the things that is not being passed along to the majority of todays youth. But hey you can throw in good common sense and respect with that to. It is a sign of the times and should remind us all that it is very important that we raise our children in the way of the lord.

Nuf said.

I believe a woman shoud dress modestly without exposing herself in a tasteful dress. Below the knee halfway to the ankle and a high neckline. I also believe that a woman should conduct herself as befiting a child of God in dress, speech and manners. Personally myself, I also wear a covering to show submission to authority as per bible teaching.

Dear Ronald,

I am thankful that we can settle our differences! I am sorry if I did offend you in anyway, those were never my intentions. My post was meant to say that to me most men are that way. I never pointed the finger at anyone and I would never do that. It seems like I pushed a few buttons with my response and I am sorry for that!

Dear Bro David,

Well it looks like we have had our first argument lol! I am sorry if you took offense to my response. It wasn't directed at you at all or at anyone in general. It was what I see as a woman on my side.

No apologies needed; I read it wrong and therefore put more into it than what you meant! :( But.........you're right on a lot of men seeing women as sex objects. They think the woman is for nothing but gauking at! But there are women who are the same way. For instance a few years ago at another job, I "rebuked" my department manager, who said she was a Christian, for talking how great some guy looked. Her response was, "You can't tell me you don't look...." and I replied that while I wasn't blind, if I did look at a woman, it was to appreciate the beauty God had given her and not to make a sex object out of her.

This is just my opinion. But I think women should stop wearing really low cut shirts and really short skirts. That sends out a bad message, like "This is appropriate" or "Hey, come and get me!"

Are you seriously thinking in your own mind that if a woman is wearing a short skirt or low cut shirt then they want men to come and get them? If I wore a short skirt or low cut top I am not asking people to come get me but I can understand why you think this way. You can usually tell when a woman is wearing certain clothing that they want attention. It is really sad to. What ever happened to being beautiful on the inside? Like my other replies on here, I wear sexy feeling clothes and some times I wear just jeans and a teeshirt, but I am never wanting people to think the wrong way of me. I am not a woman who needs to dress sexy for attention!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
