Question for Torah Law Keepers

I'm looking into keeping the Torah, but it comes with it's issues.

How much of America is left after this law is kept?

12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying, 13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; 14 Then shalt thou inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you; 15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword. 16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. 17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers; 18 When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.

Keeping the law of moses cant save. its impossible to keep all the laws. Jesus showed us that the law condemns. Jesus saves.

I do not think we are called to keep all the 'covenant' laws that were there for certain really good reasons. But the old laws are very much there to keep along with those the Apostles mentioned that we should observe.

The spirit of the law is so very interesting as are the reasons for the 'covenant - medical laws'.

Unfortunately some cry 'judaizer' without really thinking about it. No one (as in Saul's writings) expects the circumcision of the flesh to be enacted. As God said a very long time ago: circumcise the flesh of your heart. 

Folk on this board call me an heretic for suggesting that it is good for us to observe the spirit of the Law. God does not make mistakes, and nothing in the scriptures is at all obsolete. The detractors give me list of things to do in order to 'keep' or 'observe' Yahweh's law - they are the legalistic ones!

As in the early Christian church, when the Apostles and the new Christians met every Sabbath to study and understand the Torah, they made notes and epistles were passed around to this end...  We should do the same.
They were strongly advised to NOT be judaistic over parts of the law that had been superseded by Yeshua's death. The old 'ordinances' as was stated, DID NOT INCLUDE all of Yahweh's laws and precepts. There were literally hundreds of pointless additions to the Law that Yeshua was constantly reminding the Pharisees.

We have far too many modern doctrines, so maybe a 'refresh' is a good idea. Take a real close look at the Torah perhaps. See if your heart and spirit are still anywhere close to the Heart of the Lord God.

And before you tell me a list of things I must do to keep the Law and that the Law will not save me, I must agree. And disagree. My walk is not really open for debate - but those who observe and understand the Law as given by Yahweh, will be able to more readily understand Him and HIS-STORY.

Yeshua said that not one jot or tittle will pass from HIS LAW, until  all has been fulfilled and heaven and earth are passed away. Last time I looked outside it was all still there!

So read about what the Church Fathers said (some were a bit weird). Read all you can about God's Law. Read the Psalms that constantly praised Yahweh and His Law. Read any of the scriptures that the Lord points you too. Steer clear of modern 'opinions' and some very dangerous doctrines. Go to THE SOURCE. Yahweh will teach you by Holy Spirit if you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you.

Keep Torah? I'm unsure what you are calling Torah  or how you would plan to keep it.

Torah is, at least in my understanding, by definition the first five books of the  Christian Bible, it's Pentateuch consisting of  Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy ( The books of Moses). Are you stating you may desire to keep the Law of Moses, but reject rabbinical laws? Are you looking to be part of the Karaite tradition and begin to embrace the  Tanakh alone, or are you seeking out the Kabbalah with it's systems and mysticism?

Why will America change regardless of what you do?

Torah law is the 613 commandments of Yahweh for his people, Israel. Which we Christians are also now. 

Some Christians pick and choose from those laws when it's suitable for them. Some don't even keep Sabbath. And the ones that do, don't keep any other laws. But 'whoever stumbles in one law, is guilty of breaking all the laws'.

Either we follow all of Yahwehs laws, or none of them. It is written, God doesn't change, neither do his laws.

Oh okay, your definition is what I am seeking. The rabbinical laws are not Torah in my understanding. But; if it is to yours then that is the definition to be used here. Personally I would think if all that as Jewish Law, inclusive of both Tanakh and Rabbinic tradition and interpretations makingup Jewish law The 613 "laws:  you reference. I had thought that maybe you were considering Karaite Torah only, or even Kabbalah mysticism. 

So anyway, and more importantly why is it  you envision as part of what you are considering to adhere to,  necessarily causing  destruction of American cities? Are you suggesting one must destroy others in order  to keep Law?

Law #33: To burn a city that has turned to idol worship--Deuteronomy 13:15

This is one of the 613 laws.

As you already know JESUS came to show us how to walk as we mere ones should.  

and a wonderful example of both how lovely and holy and pure the law is and how man is not to be the judge of it , but rather fulfill it BY living JESUS sayings.

this example can be found where they brought a woman who had committed adultery .

The law says she should be stoned , but what do you say,  REMEMBER this they said to try and trick him too.

Let us pay attention to something JESUS DID NOT SAY.   HE NEVER < NEVER once said nor assumed the law was wrong in one tittle.

HE did not say......HEY don't You stone that woman.  NOPE .  For the law had said TOO.    WHAT he did say , showed WHO alone has that right . AND IT SURE AINT MAN

for all have sinned,  haven't they.   not a one of us has the right to put to death another for any sin.   GOD DOES and HE ALONE is the judge who will.

IN the mean time ,     we simply correct by using the law on the disobedient .   An example

would be a woman is brought before the church as an adulterer  , we rebuke , we correct , and till she repents their is no eating with or keeping company with.

SEE the difference.     Only in these days..............the wrong version of judgment is used.    Don't you dare judge you haters ,  WHEN one does try and correct

they are accused of JUDGING .   THIS IS A LIE FROM SATAN and I repeat from satan.   We are to be very grave , very serious when we see any brethren in any error.

IN fact to not correct IS HATE.  not love, HATE.

The simple thing to remember is this,  IF any brings any scripture from the old test and it CONTRADICTS the way JESUS taught ,  TIS A LIE from satan

trying to get us to disobey the ONLY ONE who gives us eyes to see  and ears to hear .

an example is................when christains try and make void something JESUS said , like ,     an example

WHEN they try and justify WAR.  and they use old test examples.    WRONG .  JESUS even told the solider DO NO VIOLENCE against any man.

We as chrisains cannot bear arms in no mans war .  but many make this void.

OR if one is wronged they think its okay to repay the one who did them wrong.   by saying EYE For eye , tooth for tooth.  BUT JESUS did not teach that .

SO the question remains to all those who have made JESUS sayings void by hearing from satan who used old holy scrips to justify

war, remarriage , taking one to court ,  swearing,  etc.    THE question is this .................if you think you can justify yourself

and make VOID the sayings of the ONLY ONE who can JUSTIFY ..........you DOOMED and you don't know it. FOR WHO knows the law better

the lying preachers who make void JESUS sayings, men or JESUS ALONE .    exactly .  LET THAT SINK IN REAL DEEP TODAY .

IT sure is, but since ONLY GOD is the JUDGE of the law and not us , we have no right to take life from any who has sinned.

DID GOD take us while we were in sin <OR BY MERCY DID HE SEND GRACE INSTEAD.      Their is no judgment against mercy.

WE are not the judge of the law, we are sinners saved and changed by grace .   OUR HEART should be filled with the mercy of GOD.

And this is simple to remember, if one was as wicked as I once was , and then instead of the death I deserved , it was grace instead

then I say  , no matter who does me wrong......LORD forgive them , as you forgave this most wicked man and you did so , not for what I did

for all that I did deserved death,  I was forgiven based on the acts OF ANOTHER and by Grace alone LED TO THAT ONE .    I hope this sinks in deep today.

WE  warn , we are to be grave, but our whole heart should do it because we desire life for the other.

Allow me to ask directly; Are you stating you are considering participating in the burning of cities and will use Torah as your reasoning for such an action?
