Let's not overthink?  I would say let's not be ignorant; instead, let's be mature, always willing to learn in Him how to reach everyone.

Overthinking it?  Hardly, I am showing you the error in how you are taking those who are in Christ and placing them under the same blanket when you say such things as you have been about the churches without distinguishing between the true ones and the false ones.  I have encouraged you to speak the truth, all of it, and that takes more work than what you have been willing to put in.  Distinguish between the true and false so those seeking to grow understand that not all churches are false.  I can't see this reasoning in your words.

You believe in the gifts of the Spirit?  Then, consider Ephesians 4:11-16

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Each of us has our part and each part should not be ignored, but unified to build each other up.  I am trying to build you up by His direction.  Will you hear His instruction through another?

Romans 12:3-16

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.  For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.  Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.  Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.  Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.  Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

Ephesians 4:25-32

Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.  “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.  Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.  Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.  And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.  Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.  And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

I am not here to discourage you, but to help.  Are you willing to accept help?

But I aint saying those in Christ are in the same bucket.

Their are still some who preach truth to their flocks.  THOUGH VERY FEW  these now are .

SO my advice stays the same .   See any leaders in a church and they focus is on JUST ,   JUST ,   unity and good works

and they heavy on God is love , but aint grave one ounce.   F        L      E     E      Them,  they is FALSE .

Since we all KNOW that all peoples in every church aint perfect,  THEN HOW COMES them leaders aint working ON THAT with sound pure doctrine

being grave, separating the sinner out till they repent ,  doing the things JESUS taught and said.

I flat out refuse to be of that other mindset .    IF I wanted to be lulled to sleep with cheap fancy talk and wordly sensual things

I would have FLED JESUS LONG ago and just sat happy with arms waving in churches as they dying and know it not .

That aint the LOVE , GOD POURED on my heart.   And frankly if that Is what many claim as love,  THEY DONT KNOW GOD .

Though the more abundantely  I love you the LESS I be loved.   PAUL LOVED THE CHURCH , its evident . HE ACTUALLY CORRECTED

He didn't leave them in sin and say hug all ,   That aint love .   never was and never will be.

One thing about this generation is ,  THEY SURE ARE HUGE on saying GOD IS LOVE ,   but KNOWS NEITHER GOD NOR LOVE .

I want to believe this is a problem of communication between members of the body... As it is written:

"For in fact the body is not one member but many.
If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body?
And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body?" - 1 Corinthians 12:14-16

"Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?" - 1 Corinthians 12:29

"Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant" - 1 Corinthians 12:1

And about this, I believe the same.

Amen.....it sure seems like it is impossible to find unity in the divers parts of the Body......different parts just often do not understand the other parts and even we can oppose one another at times.  Just goes to show  how our unity is in CHRIST ALONE, not in gifts or in anything else.   It makes me laugh though, because His ways are beyond finding out......it's like He makes things impossible on purpose.....Elijah pouring water upon water on the altar.....impossible for fire to burn on that sodden wet altar, yet WITH God all things ARE possible......the more impossible it is the more He is magnified and glorified in the victory.  :)

And your focus is to the ones who are falling.  I understand this, still, those who are just accepting Christ and are looking for a church, how do you think this makes them feel about what they just joined?  All I am saying is you need to look at this from all views, not just one.

I could just ignore all this, but it is too important not to ignore the ones who are seeking truth.  Please, if you have specific churches, pastors, ect., tell people so those who are seeking don't end up throwing their hands in the air thinking all is hopelessness, asking themselves "why bother?".

I would say we bother for one reason alone..........because God is faithful and our trust is in HIM, not in our knowing the right things.

Brother, it’s just really hard to ignore given the urgency and the scale of what is happening.  And actually the Lord was gracious to give me understanding that the falling away began way back after Paul departed, where he said that wolves would come in after he left......even then were many antichrists.....but in the last days it is coming to full fruition of the error…..transgression coming to the full.  And the Lord is sovereign over it all, and is well able to keep and lead His sheep safely home, if we but learn to follow our Shepherd and listen not to a stranger's voice.

Truth is not about "knowledge" and feeding our natural mind and curiosity, it's about seeking and following the God of all Truth, and from HIM and through HIM comes the light that we need.  Our focus should be on the Lord Christ and where He is leading us to, heavenly Zion.  If any are touched with a sense of concern or troubled by something they are hearing, or that they need to understand more......then we need to bring it to the Lord, and ask and seek from Him and He will give us more light......that's what it's all about, being pointed and even driven at times to the Lord our God.  We won't escape by our carnal knowledge of anything, only by Christ our Lord.......HIM we seek, HIM we follow, HE is the oil for our lamps.

I'm sorry but who are you talking about?  Just come out with it and tell us all who you are talking about.  Do you mean the people posting here or the whole world or what?  You seem to go on and on about everyone not doing the right thing so give an example.

I'm loving this thread..........the Lord is like an eagle stirring up His nest sometimes.......it is for the very purpose so that we little eagles wake up and become alert, jostling around and seeking and opening our beaks to receive the meat we need.  Time to get up and move onward and upward when the cloud moves.....feed on Christ and grow some more, and follow where He is leading.   Anything we don't understand, anything that troubles, or we feel a niggling sense we might be lacking something.......it is for the very purpose of causing us to seek HIM for what we need.  Glory to His name.

Wait a minute ... not in our knowing the right things?  I am not speaking of worldly knowledge, but knowledge derived through scripture.  How do you expect anyone to know God if it were not for scripture?  How can knowing what scripture says be wrong?  Knowing scripture is knowing the right things!

All that you mention can be found in scripture and is how you became aware of it yourself.  We read in John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."  How can the Holy Spirit bring back to someone anything that they have not read?

You forget that the Holy Spirit did set up the ministry and we should not grieve the Holy Spirit and His work.  Being wise and listening to the Holy Spirit is upmost important, but so are those whom He place in ministry.

Nobody here is putting the true gospel under the same blanket with the false ones, just that unfortunately the strong delusion constitutes the majority of the church and is still spreading.  Some are just trying to shine a light and give a head's up to this plague......and anyone is free to seek the Lord and do their own due diligence regarding how to distinguish between sound doctrine and false. But we need to be willing to look at scripture with fresh eyes, not through a lens of what we have been taught in churches.....but rather let Christ through the scriptures correct any deceptions we have imbibed.  If we belong to Him, if we are sincere in our faith, if we live in obedience to Him.........He will answer and lead and guide us.

What did God say about Israel.......that though the number of the Israelites be as the sand on the seashore only a remnant will be saved.....and since Israel is our ensample.....the same is true of Christendom, and really always has been in every generation.  That is a very uncomfortable thought.....and I believe it is meant to be.....so that we will seek Him diligently.....so that we will run the race so as to win it.

I am talking about carnal knowledge of the scriptures apart from the Holy Spirit.....pointing out that it is only in Him, in Christ, that we can even profit from knowledge.  It is not in the knowledge itself.

Amen, it is all in scripture, yes, I have nothing that I didn't receive, all praise be to God.

He also brought to my remembrance about the ministry of the new covenant being given to all the church, and about the priesthood of all believers, and that He has given spiritual gifts to all His people that the whole church be edified.......and how much he hates the antichrist form of Christianity that we have made it.

New believers come much better equipped by the Lord than most realize......it is only because of the gobbledy-gook and false system that most start to sit under right away that it all gets buried alive instead of being fostered and exercised.  Even when I was first saved I was already discerning and correcting errors of the churches I attended in my heart, but not having any boldness or assurance in those early years......and it was not of my own but what God had put in me, knowledge of Him, knowledge of some truth, spiritual gift, and I'm sure many must have similar testimonies.  He has even ordained praises from the mouths of babes......nobody is so full of praises and zeal as the newly born......though even that gets quenched and buried in most places.

Still these things are all in God's sovereign hands, like I said elsewhere, it's as though He makes it impossible, makes the altar soaking wet as if to dare the devil to try and quench His fire.........it is all the more GLORY TO THE LORD when His fire is able to burn and keep alive......victory is that much sweeter when it is hard won.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
