I love my country for her spirit of strength and determination. She has always risen to every challenge and every attempt to destroy her and has prevailed. She has never taken the easy way out and has never shown cowardice.

If tomorrow all the things were gone I

From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli

We fight our country's battles in the air on land and sea

First to fight for right and freedom and to keep our honor clean

We are proud to claim the title of United States Marine

Our flag's unfurled to every breeze from dawn to setting sun

We have fought in every clime and place where wecould take a gun

In the snow of far off northern lands and in sunny tropic scenes

You will find us always on the job The United States Marines

Here's health to you and to our Corps which we are proud to serve

In many a strife we've fought for life and never lost our nerve

If the Army and the Navy ever look on heaven's scenes

they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines

America gives its citizens opportunities to succeed in life.

America gives help to those who need it, no questions asked.

Land of the free, home of the brave. :)

I love Canada! *grin* seriously, though...we're part of North America, so I guess that makes us siblings :o Never lived in the States, so I can't tell you really how I'd feel about it...but my grandparents had a condo in Scottsdale...I don't remember much about it (since that was when I was about eight years old), but the weather was great, and so were the grapefruit that we got from the trees :)

My boyfriend is a dual citizen and I love him and his family :o

I love my Californian friends Josh and Rebecca (a wonderful married couple from my Bible College)

Stephen R. Donaldson (see my signature) is one of my favourite authors, and he's American

So...You guys definitely got some good stuff going for ya :)

I have something positive to say about this nation. Food is plentiful. I mean, I hear about all this talk about overweight people in our nation, but compare that to what we hear in other countries: people die because they don't have enough food. Americans are dying because we have too much! :34:

Americans are very fortunate. We have so many opportunities and it is a shame when alot of Americans waste it! We all could go and live in some 3rd world country and learn to appreciate what we have here!

There are so many people trying to come to this country because of the opportunities that are available here. And yet there are those who live here and claim how bad it is, then how come you don't hear of an American trying to enter into, oh say Syria, by climbing up into the rear-end of a camel and entering into that country illegally because it is so much better there?

America, land of opportunity.

Click here for "The Ragged Old Flag" .........

Yes, I love America, my love of country and dedication to her is second only to my love and dedication to God.

What other nation put forward to the world :

"Bring me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free ....... "

... and we meant it.

This nation exports so much more than grain or cars or any other consumer item .... we export hope, freedom and dignity to the entire world.  No other nation comes close or even tries to give to the world what we freely give.

God Bles America .... "One Nation Under God"

I remain always faithful ..................  :)

My Dad's family came from Croatia. Nothing against Croatians, but dad and his siblings never went back. He along with 3 of his 4 brothers fought in WW2. They all loved America and made sure that their kids were "American". Not "Croation/ American". I love Croatians but I'm not one. I owe God and my country for the good things that I have experienced in life. I really get livid when I hear people who have been blessed to live in America diss it. I get a bit tired of hearing people from other countrys who have graveyards full of American Soldiers who fought for their liberation, diss America. I don't care what anybody says, I know for a fact that if you were to take America out of the picture, the world would be in FAR FAR more turmoil than it is now. I don't see this as a put down to any other countries. Its just that America seems to be the one that everyone likes to bad mouth and I for one have reached the point where I'm not just gonna sit back and let it go unanswered. Thankyou for your posts. I love patriots!(not New England)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
