Hello @Robert William,

I started to read your opening post, but, with respect, got no further than the first line, which said,

'Yes, predestination is biblical.  Predestination is the teaching that God has, from all eternity, freely determined whatsoever shall come to pass.'

* This is surely not right: for example, did God determine that the offspring of Noah would 'abide' in the valley of Shinar and build themselves a city and a tower, in order to make themselves a name, against His known will? I think not. This is just one act of disobedience which comes to mind, beside that one catastrophic  act of disobedience in the garden of Eden, which brought in sin and death upon mankind.

* God has foreknowledge, He knows what man will do, and therefore predestinates accordingly.

* I have no time to read further at this moment, but felt it necessary to respond to that opening line.

YOU LOVED SISTER .   What is predetermined and was predestined ,  IS THAT JESUS WOULD BE THE SAVOIR .     Even before the world was .

THAT is what I am going to focus on .     That the ONLY condemnation a man has , IS not that he was created to go to hell, BUT THAT he rejects CHRIST , THE LIGHT .

THAT is all I need to know sister .     JESUS is the savoir .    PREACH HIM and may folks come running to the savoir .  Cause in the end what else really mattered .

NO JESUS , NO ETERNAL LIFE .   so I say we should be DETERMINED to share that gospel  .   and whosoever comes , LET THEM COME .

Man,  its LORD PRAISING TIME AGAIN .

So when were we created?

Nothing in the Bible tells me i existed before the moment of conception..

Jeremiah 1: 5 only reveals Gods foreknowledge of an individual..

Hello Christine, I strongly suggest that you please read the rest of the article, a person is NOT predestined based on a free will choice, free will is a man mad Satanic myth.

Hello @Robert William,

'For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate
to be conformed to the image of His Son,
that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover -
.. whom He did predestinate, them He also called:
.... and whom He called, them He also justified:
...... and whom He justified, them He also glorified.'

(Rom 8:29-30)

'Having predestinated us
.. unto the adoption of children
.... by Jesus Christ to Himself,
...... according to the good pleasure of His will,

(Eph 1:5)

'In Whom also we have obtained an inheritance,
.. being predestinated
.... according to the purpose of Him
...... Who worketh all things after the counsel of His Own will: ... '

(Eph 1:11)

* These words I believe (within their context) for they are part of God's written record.

Praise His Holy Name!

In Christ Jesus
Our risen and glorified
Saviour, Lord and Head.

Chris
