I'm struggling with this dilemma about faith
As I look back at scripture
I tried to find an answer I'm looking for
Maybe I'm not looking hard enough
I'm having a hard time finding out
How should I deal with other religions
Like Muslims and such
My question is this how did Jesus handle and deal with people like this
You might get the wrong impression
That as a Christians I'm quick to judge him or her because of there  beliefs
I have this person you could say
That seems really cool and down to earth
But is always trying to convince me that I should switch my opinion
Always talking about how his or her faith have made that individual a better person
I can see they truly believe this
I can't help but feel that this person is little misguided about going about doing it
All that person does is talk about Muhammad all the time
I can truly believe they see they their relationship with there faith is bettering the world
I'm having a hard time getting it
I'm trying to gauge how I should deal with this person in question?

Ask God to fill you with His compassion for that persona as a person who is lost and deceived.  Then ask Him to make you as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves.  Then read your Bible daily.

Eph 6:10  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Eph 6:11  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Eph 6:12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Eph 6:13  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, (in Christ)

Eph 6:15  and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.

Eph 6:16  In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;

Eph 6:17  and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

Eph 6:18  praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

When my husband wasn't saved I would pray silently whenever I talked with Him.  God gave me strength and wisdom in answering him, strong faith and joy in the midst of heartbreak.  I prayed that God would open his eyes to the truth and that the lies of satan would be exposed for what they are.

You deal with them in love and kindness, first of all. But be firm. Continue to study the Bible daily. Pray daily that God will use you as His mouthpiece, to say what He wants you to say. He knows what this person needs to hear and will give you the right words.

I would also suggest doing some serious studying about the truth of Islam. It is a corrupt amalgamation of several religions, one of them being Christianity. Muhammad was a brutal warlord and criminal. There's no shortage of good information on Youtube and elsewhere online.

First, love your neighbor as yourself.   Treat others as you would have them treat you.  Following are some things that you might discuss with your friend as you are led by the Holy Spirit.

Muslims have no assurance that they will get to Paradise when they die.   They try to do many good works in order to balance out their bad deeds or sins.  But even then they are not sure what their destination will be after death!   It is a works oriented religion, as all other religions are, except for our faith in Christ.

I would stress that God is totally holy and cannot stand sin in His presence!   Even though we might try to be holy, our goodness before the holy God is still like a filthy rag.    So this is why we all need Christ as our Savior....because He was sinless and therefore could be the perfect sacrifice for our sins.  In placing our faith on Christ, He takes our sins and gives us His righteousness.   We are also born again from above.

Stress the importance of the Virgin Birth....this is why Christ not only has a human nature, but also the divine nature.  Muslims believe in the Virgin Birth....so you can explain why it was needed, so that Christ was born sinless and could be the perfect sacrifice for our sins.

Also, it's important to stress that Christ rose from the dead and is now interceding for us.   Christ overcame sin, death and the devil.   I read that a certain Muslim was very impressed when he realized that Christ rose from the dead.

Also, stress we believe in One God but revealed in three persons.  It's a mystery but God is totally above our thoughts and ways.

The above are just some ideas for you....pray for the Holy Spirit's leading in how to talk with your friend.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
