Now believe it or not there is an entire movement in Christianity which teaches "license to sin" by virtual of the fact they don't teach against sin. This is called the "Seeker Sensitive" movement, and they mostly entertain goats rather than ministering to the sheep.

The following are comments from Got Questions concerning "seekers friendly churches".

Basically, the seeker-sensitive church tries to reach out to the unsaved person by making the church experience as comfortable, inviting, and non-threatening to him as possible.

Theatrics and musical entertainment are the norm in the church service to keep the unsaved person from getting bored as he does with traditional churches.

Expertly run nurseries, day care, adult day care, community programs such as ESL (English as a Second Language), and much more are common fixtures in the larger seeker churches.

Short sermons (typically 20 minutes at most) are usually focused on self-improvement.

however, rarely are sin, hell, or repentance spoken of, and Jesus Christ as the exclusive way to heaven is rarely mentioned. Such doctrines are considered “divisive.”
The focus of the seeker church then is not Christ-centered, but man-centered.

Further, the seeker-friendly gospel presentation is based on the idea that if you will believe in Jesus, He will make your life better. Relationships with your wife or husband, coworkers, children, etc., will be better. The message the seeker church sometimes passes on to the unsaved person is that God is a great cosmic genie, and if you stroke Him the right way, you will get what you want. In other words, if you profess to believe in Jesus, God will give you a better life, better relationships and purpose in life.

But if a person "believes" in God, but lacks the fruit of the Spirit and lacks "Gifts of the Spirit", it is probably because they are in the condition of Nicodemus: They "believe" in God, but are not yet "born again". This is a problem, because that flesh nature can deceive people into believing they are "okay with God", when in reality they are not.

What Biblical scriptures are using to prove this?

I'm not sure what your backgreound is, but there are entire denominations of churches which don't teach against entire classes of sins, such as homosexuality. They even allow homosexuals to be in the clergy in some denominations. So yes, they are providing a "license to sin" doctrine.

I am not trying to nit- pick you to death, but I disagree with you take on “ license to sin”.If a church is ignorant, or has rationalized a way to accept Homosexuality that is terrible. To me, a license to sin would be somebody who knows something is wrong and thinks he can do it and get away with, because Grace allows it.Some things are done in ignorance - bad enough ,but still only ignorance.Other things are done knowing full- well that they are wrong , but not caring because they think Grace has no consequences. The latter scenario is worse than the first, wouldn’t you agree?

Here's for one.

Jesus said that many would say unto him, "Lord, Lord, we have done all these things in your name," but Jesus said He would tell them to depart from him because he never knew them. This is a class of people who "believe" in God, but are definitely not born again. (See Matthew 7: 21-23)
