Thanks for your reply.

The above quote is an answer to the following question:

Given that Circumcision is common in the USA, is USA a Jewish Nation?

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

9 have ye not known that the unrighteous the reign of God shall not inherit? be not led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,

10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, the reign of God shall inherit.

Galatians 5:19-21 King James Version (KJV)

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Great verses!     Your point?

What advantage have the Jew over the Gentile?

Romans 3:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

3 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

Todays Jew is meant to be jealous of the Christian. If that provokes Him to be saved, he has an advantage the run of the mill Gentile may lack. Other than that Jew and Gentile? “ there is now only one”  no difference between the two.

There's not much to be jealous of with the church in the state it's in at the moment. It may be God's intension, but in reality, which of the 41,000 denominations are the Jews to be jealous of?

Jealous not of denominations but that salvation has come to the Gentiles, and that God's favour is no longer confined to them alone.

Rom 11:11 I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles.

It would not be a denomination.A true Christian will be joyful and at peace .He will be the one to keep his cool when things are going nuts.Who would not want to be like that? Plus.....he knows where he is going when he dies.Whats not to love?

That's not how the Gospel was preach by Jesus Christ and the disciples, and strangely enouph they spoke to them who believe in God and were obedient to the Law of Moses, and had forgivness of their sins through the Law of Moses...a nation which had the righteousness of the Law of Moses.

They were told that If they did not believe in Jesus Christ they are still in their sins. They will be found without the righteousness of the Law.

We are in the new testiment, and Paul explained very well, that the forgiveness of sins through the Law of Moses is put away, in favor of faith in Jesus Christ which inputes the righteousness of God in the believer , who also receives the gift of the Eternal Life found in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ will never die spiritually,  and the believer in Jesus Christ never dies spiritually.

As Jesus is , so are we.

Jesus deals with the iniquity in his believers in some way, but never with giving them spiritual death.

Jesus is our peace with God....not iniquity or not iniquity...

A believer in Jesus Christ who abides in iniquity remains under the Attoning blood of Jesus Christ because of his faith in him.

Faith in Jesus Christ is counted for the righteousness of God and for the eternal life, and the Heavenly inheritance...

Which it means we are not seperated from the Heavenly Father.

Only faith in the Savior Jesus Christ inputes the righteousness of God in man and the eternal life of Jesus Christ as a gift from God...

The life of God in Jesus Christ is imputed to us by faith...

Jesus is righteous and so we are.

Iniquity in believers in Jesus Christ is not glorified by Jesus as their is not iniquity found in him...

Jesus does not want his believers to abide in iniquity, and the time may come that he might have to deal with them as his children...

In fact he bore our iniquity together with our sins on the Cross...

(I do not know how you reach this conclusion that iniquity in a believer or his misconceptions of the doctrine that we are Justified by faith alone, or the dificulty of understanding this part of the Gospel, will take a believer out of the Attoning blood of Jesus Christ, when Jesus invites people as they are in their iniquity and sins to believe in him and he Jesus positions them under the blood of his Attonment, or covers them with his blood).

First - I’ll address why Jesus said this to the leper that he healed.  The Torah has a very specific subset of Levitical rules around how to verify that a leper is healed.  This is the first case of a leper healed after God gave the law to Moses, in fact the only known point in history this Levitical Law was ever used after it was written.  It was so the Jewish leaders could see that a fulfillment of a messianic prophecy occurred.  This is one example of where the Torah points to the messiah, and the Ancient Rabbis identified this is one of the three messianic miracles that is required to identify the messiah (the other two included Excorcism of a Mute Demon, and healing of a man Born blind).

To address the other points. The NT is full of examples & commandments where it shows a clear dichotomy between believers, and followers.  “What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone. Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.”
‭‭James‬ ‭2:14-26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I think a few of Paul’s writings are often taken out of context (for example Romans 6:14) misunderstood and hyperfocused on to negate much of Jesus’ teaching.  But yet if you read this verse in context, as well as the rest of Paul’s writings, you can see Paul clearly explains we need the law.  “The Law” = The Torah.  How can we obey God, as Jesus commands, unless we know what God wants us to do?  Yes you may say that He writes his commandments on our heart, but where does this come from?  God is unchanging.  His law doesn’t change.  Are the 10 commandments now irrelevant?  Jesus sacrifice on the cross replaced the Levitical sacrificial system, which had a clear purpose for atonement of sin, but was an imperfect system replaced by our perfect lamb of God.  The sacrificial system given to Israel by God pointed to the messiah, showing the cost of sin and showing that He would be the ultimate sacrifice.  On the same Passover when Jesus died on the cross, 2000 lambs per minute were slaughtered to atone for sin, creating a river of blood from God’s Holy Temple!  In regard to the rabbinical law, which is an extra-biblical set of rules, much of what Jesus Spoke against was the obsessiveness of the teachers of the law requiring people to obey the minutia, the detailed portions of the rabbinical law, while ignoring the big issues that are the fundamental principles of God’s laws - “justice, mercy, faith”.  See Mt23:23 Tithing on the spices, not eating milk and meat together, obsessive hand washing... a list of rules to accompany the Torah - this is what Jesus spoke against only because the people replaced God’s law with these rabbinical laws.

Now regarding the Torah and it’s applicability to Gentile believers - Should we ignore the foundation of the tree that we, as believers, have been grafted into (Israel)?
Jesus’ life and ministry was very clear - His message of sacrifice and redemption was very clearly intertwined with a message requiring absolute obedience to His commandments.  Jesus sums up the consequences perfectly in Matthew 7:21-23

““Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:21-23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In these verses, The people being condemned are clearly those who call out to Jesus, profess to accept His message, but break God’s laws.

If all we needed to do is believe in Jesus, then why would Jesus say:

“But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The truth is, much of Jesus’ teaching is hard.  It was hard teaching then, it is still hard teaching today.  It is not the fluffy message that our itching ears want to hear.

Most importantly, we need to hear Jesus’ words directly about the Torah:

““Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. Amen, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or serif shall ever pass away from the Torah until all things come to pass. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever keeps and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees and Torah scholars, you shall never enter the kingdom of heaven!”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:17-20‬

for if we want to receive the Holy Spirit, which is how we receive God’s law on our hearts, we must first believe, Love Jesus and live in obedience to His commandments as per John 14:15-16 and all of John 15 - remain in Him and He shall remain in us.

“When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:10‬

Anyway - this is what I am compelled to say.  Blessings and Shalom.

Jared

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
