Where and what is heaven?

It could be, but regardless we will have a home with our King someday, I believe it will be in Jerusalem...but it could start in another place called Heaven...David ruled for seven years from Hebron(Heaven in Hebrew) and then moved his kingdom to Jerusalem, why not us?

Yes, its a couple of years ago that I heard this sermon and didn't really know what to think so I let it rest.

He was of the opinion that heaven is a spirituel place and that can be very well true because our souls and spirit are going to be with the Lord the minute we die and our bodies will be resurrected later.

When you hear stories of how we recognize people it must be of their spirits?

Hey... I know its a good place and someday the mystery will be revealed.

Heaven for us could be the Chupah(bridal chamber) where we go when we are resurrected for our Shavuah (Week 7 days[years]/Honeymoon) with Yeshua. Every bride gets her week with her groom before the party(wedding feast/reception) begins

(It's also a great time to miss out on all the Tribulation going on down here.)

I believe we sleep (if we die first )untill That Day when we get to go all at once in the twinkling of an eye...

I've come to understand the term this way. Shaul described three heavens. One is the air above that we breath, the second is the stars and the universe, and the

'Third' heaven is 'the presence of God'.

Now this makes sense to me in that the goal of God is to live within his creation (you can't do this when the creation doesn't know you or hates you), heaven on earth. When the heavenly city of Yerushalayim comes to earth it is 'heaven on earth', or "on earth as it is in Heaven". God dwells with his creation. Man is in the presence of God, Heaven. This is how I understand 'heaven'. The indwelling of the Ruach is the first fruits of 'heaven on earth', God living within his creation. Baruch ata Yeshua! Adonenu.

Shimshon , first of all I have to ask if you took the same name of Samson from the Bible and wonder if you compare yourself to him

I agree with your opinion, it makes a lot of sense, I know there are 3 heavens and to die is to be present with the Lord (for the believer)

The Bible says we recognize people but I believe its only our soul and spirit who go to heaven and our body will be resurrected after the millennium.

So heaven must be a dwelling place for our souls and spirit.

Its a big mystery, how will we recognize people without seeing them?

Also in Revelation it talks about the Saints how they died for their believe and they are dressed in white

At the rapture we will be changed in a twinkling of an eye----be interesting to know how we will be changed.

But then we live by faith and someday we understand

Who says that when we are all spirits floating around that we wont' be able to see each other? I think that the spiritual realm is just as visible as this one, jsut not to us while we're in our physical bodies.
