1 Corinthians 16:14 (NASB)
Let all that you do be done in love.

“Let all that you do be done in love”

This bar is so very high. To strive to fulfill this command. To consider everything we do by this directive. Every thought we think, every motion of our wills, every longing of our hearts. Let all that be done in love. When someone insults us, or passes judgement on us. Or finds this or that fault in us, whether it is real or perceived. Do we wish only good and love on them? Do we hope all good things towards them.

Let all be done in love.

When we pass judgement on a person, is it in love? When we have a difference of opinion, do we prefer our brothers over ourselves? Do we take the lowest and most humblest spot and trust God in the situation? Do we give up our ways and wishes, for those that Christ died for.

1 Corinthians 13:6 (NASB)
Love~~~~does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;

Do we rejoice in righteousness? Do we long for the truth to be manifested in all things?

Is love for all people, that which our hearts long after.

Let all be done in love.

Is this our hearts desire? This bar is so very high. But God has promised to make this heart, our hearts. Oh, that this would be a living reality in our lives. That today we might love a little more than yesterday and tomorrow even more than today.

So that this command to;

“Let all that you do be done in love”

Would be true in our hearts. That our hearts would crave after that it would be true.

Love, truth, righteousness.

Pursuing these things, in all we do,  produces the fruit of such, which is joy and a peace that passes all understanding.

To give up ourselves to pursue love, righteousness and all good things in all circumstances and situations. To have a heart that would crave after such things and only such things.

To love God with all our hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

To not favor the poor man or the rich man but to show love and righteousness to all.

For God is love, let us pursue love in all things, so we are pursuing God in all things.

Blessings,

Much love in Christ, Not me

Alot of good stuff! I'm not that good with English, so there are a lots of "you's" in this response. I do not mean "you" personally or it to be a judgment of you (i don't know you). I just don't know how to get it said with out it being a one to one person explanation. So forgive me.. the "you's" do not mean you to anyone.

But Jesus will judge this world and all the people. He loves us all, doesn't he?

He does and did everything he can to save us from that judgement. His effort did not fall short of giving His own life and suffering much at the hands of those he gave his life to save.

If anyone is on the path to the final judgement. It's much better to be made aware by someone that loves you enough to judge it and tell you your in a bad place and it is obvious. If you see someone forsaking all the Lord has done to save them and your not willing to fight them for them. I personally don't think you love them.

You are so much better off being judged by a friend that loves you enough to get in your way, if you are on a self destructive path or the path to eternal judgment. People on the path to hell will hate you for telling them the truth.

I don't know about you but If see someone I love drunk about to get behind the wheel of a car, they are giving my those keys or there is going to a wrestling match for them because I do love them.

Jesus has made clear the things that can put us on that broad road of destruction. If you dont have the boldness to get in people's wayand call them on their bologna,  I say you don't love them. You love your own comfort with yourself so you can virtue signal yourself.

I think what the love the Lord has and gives us is differen then love of the flesh and the flowers and roses and keep everything cozy is not the love he has for us or gives us.

You may want that lovey recipical feeling. I want all those I come in contact with to be saved and if anyone I love ends up in that judgment line they'll be saying why didn't I listen you did everything you could.

I love people enough to risk them hating me. Because I do not ever want anyone I ever have contact with standing in that judgement line asking, "why I didn't warn them or show the way to salvation" because if my position with Christ is not in the judgment line. It proves I knew but didn't contend for their  life. And did not love them enough to tell them the truth.

Hi,

I’m sorry you have me at a disadvantage. It may be a language issue,  for I counted three “you’s ” in the OP, and in each case scripture was being quoted.  For my intent was;

“let all things be done in love.”

So I wish you well in your walk and thanks for your thoughts and I do agree with you that we should speak up as the Spirit of Christ in us bids us speak.

For the Spirit of Christ in us, does do all things in love.

Blessings,

Much love in Christ, Not me

:amen: How I yearn to gladden my Father's heart by being a vessel of His love! "And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. " (1 Cor 13:13)

"If it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is giving, let him give generously; if it is leading, let him lead with diligence; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

Love must be sincere (genuine.) Detest what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Outdo yourselves in honoring one another." (Romans 12:8-10)

The KJV puts it, "Let love be without *dissimulation." The Oxford dictionary describes that as *concealment of one's thoughts, feelings, or character; pretense.

Love's key attributes are selflessness (putting others above you) and enjoying it. It is being a cheerful giver.

Such truth and words of life.

That you, me, we all could be a vessel of His love, to all people at all times and seasons, that all would know we were His disciples and do all things in love.

:)1 Corinthians 13 has been referred to as "the love chapter."

1 John 4 is another good chapter to read regarding love.

Here are verses 16-21 from it:

16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

19 We love Him because He first loved us.

Obedience by Faith

20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

“Love without hypocrisy.”

To me means a ulterior motive. Wanting nothing for “self”.

21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Yes John does a real good job of explaining it .   He who loves NOT RIGHTEOUSNESS , NOR HIS BROTHER ,   KNOWS NOT GOD .

a lot of folks forget that loving righteousness part .     Jesus makes it very clear ,   He who loves mother , father , son , daughter , husband or wife more than me is not worthy of me .

In this day and age we are hearing all about love .   We hear it from the pope , from Kenny from churches round the world , from muslims and gays , from buddits to atheists .

But what is going on .    a false love has long been introduced .  IT loves the world and it knows nothing but sensual feelings .

We must thoroughly examine what it is we truly love above everything .     IF it is TRULY JESUS as HE COMMANDED then let all know and understand

THAT JESUS HIMSELF said ,  IF  a man loves me HE WOULD KEEP MY SAYINGS .

And our LORD had so many wonderful sayings .    From every warning to every promise ,  IS JESUS WORDS NOT TO BE ADORED AND TREASURED ABOVE ALL .

IF they were ,  we would have the eyes to see clearly how to pull the specks from eyes .

Sister ,  I know you KNOW ,  but I am very terrified for so many souls .   This feeling wont go away and it is increasing all the time .

SO many are going down a wrong path .   Let us all remember ,   WHEN we stand before JESUS on HIS DAY , AS EVERYONE WILL

What on earth are many going to say .     JESUS is more than all ,  and was before all things .   We must return to bibles asap .  WE MUST .

Folks are despising the wrong man .     I am only reminding us of what others before us have and did remind daily .

JESUS said to be watching and the TIME NOW is to be watching more than ever . But if our affections are on the cares and pleasures in life ,    WE wont make it .

All distractions now .    We must not only double down , but quadruple down on our reading of bibles and may all minds be cleansed as we grow and learn .

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
