I claim nothing. Just told my opinion, as you do yours. Or common.

No point in posting... Isn't it a Discussion Forum?

Well, maybe "created" is a wrong word. What about populated, actively participated, joined condemned demons, inhabited forever, die forever in, &c., &c. Better?

IMHO, GOD didn't create hell. He just directed evil from off the Light.

Then who created hell? If you think man created hell then you are giving man a whole lot of power. Man has not created anything.

Who had created hell? GOD is Love – He couldn’t. Love doesn’t create tortures. On the other hand,

Brother, you start off with a false premise that leads to your false conclusion.

Yes, God is love.  He is Love to the point that my brain can't bear trying to understand it.  WHY should he love us?  There's so much hate in this world, murders, raping of children, wars, homosexuality - the new and accepted norm, pornography and sex trafficking is a world wide problem, and people, Christians included, are entrenched in idolatry of sex, power, food, bitterness, and a list that goes on endlessly.

So, yes, to say that "God is Love" teaches a idea that few can understand.  God is Love does not mean that God is a hippie, wearing his love beads, and telling everyone that it's all going to be fine - I won't punish anyone for anything - here, have a flower.

God is Love means something very humbling to the sinner - something that should make him stop in his tracks and fall face down in shame and reverence to God.  AND obey him.

God doesn't love us because we are so cute and lovable.  We are disgusting compared to God's holiness and yet he loves us all the same.  THAT's what I cannot completely understand.

You've left out a very important theological fact

God is also a God of wrath.  Deservedly so. And his wrath is not a wild and foaming-at-the-mouth rage like our wrath is.  Our wrath is emotional and destructive.

God MUST be a God of wrath if he is to be God at all.  God is holy and perfect and blameless.  He PATIENTLY waits for ALL to hear the gospel.  His desire is for ALL to be saved.  The Bible says that, not me.

Not all will be saved.  Not all will submit to God.  Many mock him, hate him, live however they choose with no regard to their offense to a holy and sovereign God.

Can they be saved. YES!  But if they die this way - hell is their destination.  Many think God is a roaring and angry old man who takes pleasure in torment.  I can show those people time after time after time after time in the Bible - both Old and New Testament where God showed his patience toward individuals, nations, Hebrew and Gentile.  God's wrath MUST be.  His love IS.

I didn't make up the following ….. I've heard it, but don't know who to attribute it to.

"You want to see God's Love?  Look to the cross.

You want to see God's Wrath?  Look to the cross."

What a dissertation on Hell. All I really need to know about Hell is that the Bible teaches me that it's not a good place to spend eternity and if I follow the teachings of Christ I know where I'm going and don't have to worry about it for myself so all I can do is share the gospel so that others might find faith and thereby also avoid spending eternity there. And if I try to figure out who made it then that's spending the time I should be devoting to God's work. (I believe that God created everything for His purpose. And Hell isn't necessarily evil in itself, it's a place of punishment for evildoers)

missmuffet, you say man hasn't created anything. I beg to differ. In my opinion man has created a colossal mess of this beautiful world that God has given us.

What I mean is that man has not created another human, all of the living creatures, this universe, the stars or the moon or hell.

Matthew 25:41 (KJV) Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Now we know from Jesus Himself why and who Hell was created for.

I suppose, what you underlined in the Scripture was a bit short. Kindly extend to "ye cursed". See also the capitalisation of "he" and "Hell." (As for me, I correct sometimes our Brothers publishers.)

What a dissertation on Hell.

I beg to note, "dissertation" is a wrong word. At least, because many of those who write them have quite worldly purposes. What I posted on hell is just an opinion. Regards.

I used the word dissertation simply to denote that it went into great length on the subject. Nothing more.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
