It is entirely possible that "mother of all living" referred to the spiritual sense.

Please explain where the other people Cain was afraid of came from if Adam and Eve didn't have other children until after Abel's murder.

They came from Eve. Reproduction at that time involved family. Of course. And we do not know how many girls Eve also may have had. The bible lists the men usually.

Simple.

Read the passage. There are no additional children until Seth, and no additional sons and daughters until after Seth was born. Which, of course, was not until after Abel’s murder.

How about daughters before Seth? Do we know how long Adam and Eve were in the garden before they sinned? I notice in chap 3 verse 19 God tells Eve that He will change how her conception works. That seems to indicate it already may have worked!? Then in verse 20 Adam calls the woman Eve because shew WAS the mother of living! Which living? Not Adam. Then in verse 24, when they were driven from the garden it only mentions 'the man'. We know Eve was there also, so if daughters were also there, they would not get a mentch either.

Then we notice that some time was involved in the lives of Cain and Able before the murder.

Gen 3:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

Seems to me there was ample opportunity for Adam and Eve and others who may have grown in the process of time also to have some girls. Both before and after the expulsion from the garden. No need to invent some other race of man!

All Jesus said was that a spirit being is not made up of flesh and bone as He now has. He never said Spirit beings do not have bodies, as the many hundreds of scriptures prove they do. Don't get hung up on "ONE," scripture which you misunderstand.

If you need to redefine words to make your point, isn't that an important clue about it?

bod·y

Sure, there was opportunity, but guessing that there must have been more children not mentioned in the Bible is exactly that - a guess.

My guess is just as consistent with scripture as your guess. It just happens that my guess is also supported by the evidence that God has made available regarding His creation process.

Not redefining words to make any point. Just quoting Scripture which are missing in your posts.  The Bible clearly teaches that very living thing has a soul and spirit. The soul is that which feels and the spirit is that which knows. Animals have both feelings and knowledge although somewhat limited and on a much lower scale than that of man. Animals were not created in the likeness of God as men are. They are a lower type of life and they have souls and spirits in the sense of feelings, emotions, appetites, desires, passions, and a low form of knowledge, as can be seen in many Scriptures. If there are horses in Heaven as the Scriptures teach then there must be all kinds of animals there for Heaven is called a better place, and therefore it is sure to be as good as the Earth (Hebrews 11:10-16).

Scriptures teach that there is a difference between the natural spirit of man and the spirit of beasts (Eccl. 3:21); that there is a difference between "breath" and "spirit" (Job 34:15; Ps. 19:7; Luke 12:19; 1 Cor. 5:5; 2 Cor. 7:1) ; and that each creature has a separate spirit which is not a part of God (Num. 16:22; 27:17; Eccl. 3:21 ; Ezek. 21:7; Dan. 2:1-3; Mal. 2:15-16; Prov. 16:2; 1 Cor. 2:10-12; 14:32; Heb. 12:9, 23; 1 Thess. 5:23).

A guess that does not require aliens or some other human race that pre existed creation or whatever. In other words a biblical deduction based on several verses and a known pattern of not usually including women in the begats.

The Mother of all living would not be the Eve of the bible if there were other folks sneaking around.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
