Luke 24:36-39,

36, And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

37, But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

38, And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

39, Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

V. 42-43,

42, And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43, And he took it, and did eat before them.

Would you say Jesus currently has a flesh and bone body? Or do you believe the 40 days after His resurrection was a special circumstance?

Yes, Jesus now has a GLORIFIED flesh and bone body. He entered a closed windowless room and appeared before the disciples. His glorified flesh and bone body can pass through walls unhindered.

John 20:19-20,

19,Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

20, And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

John 2o: 26-28,

26, And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27, Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28, And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Yes, Jesus took on a physical body after His resurrection. He walked in it for 40 days. But He is longer present in the earth in this form and has not been here in over 2000 years. I believe the evidence suggests that His form after His resurrection was a special circumstance.

Christ is now the first of the firstfruits. Jesus still has His flesh and bone body as proved by this Scripture.

Zechariah 13:6,

6, And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

1 Cor. 20:20-23,

20, But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

21, For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22, For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

We, who are in Christ when we die, shall be raised as He was, in glorified flesh and bone bodies.

Your scriptural references, when read for exactly what they say, show that Jesus Christ is alive. However, none of them directly support your assertion that Jesus is currently in a physical form.

Additionally, if He has taken a physical form somewhere, then He must also be in physical space. Where would you guess that physical location might be?

The Scriptures cannot be more supportive than Jesus Himself saying, "Spirit hath not flesh and bone as ye see me have," after His resurrection and Him appearing before His disciples in a closed room.

Where is Jesus now? Jesus now sits at His Fathers right hand in Heaven.

Mark 16:19,

19, So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Acts 2:32-33,

32, This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33, Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

1 Peter 3:22,

22, Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Hebrews 1:3,

  3, Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Acts 7:55,

55, But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

Many Scriptures teach that Heaven is a created place, Heaven is where God lives now, until He comes to the Earth to be with mankind forever.

Isaiah 45:18, For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: He even has an army which follows Him; Revelation 19:14, And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Heaven  is somewhere out of our reach and sight, in the Northern part of the universe, for Lucifer, now Satan said;

Isiah 14: 12, How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,7 son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

   V. 13, For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, IN THE SIDES OF THE NORTH:

Heaven is so far away it has not been found or seen by man from the earth even by our most powerful telescopes, even Hubble?

Many Scriptures teach that Heaven is inhabited. (1 Kings 22:19; 2 Chron. 18:18; Matt.18:10; 22:30; 24:36; Rev. 12:12; 13:6).

Armies and hosts of Heaven are mentioned an number of times as seen in these passages and in Dan. 4:35; Luke 2:13; Rev. 19:14. These inhabitants are listed in part as common angels, archangels, seraphim, cherubim and other spirit beings. Heavenly bodies are mentioned in 1 Cor. 15:48-49. Rejoicing in Heaven is referred to by the inhabitants in Heaven (Ps. 96:11; 148:1, 4; Isa.44:23; Rev. 12:12). 8. Paul speaks of "the invisible things" in Heaven as being like the visible things on Earth; that is the things in Heaven are just like the things on Earth. (Rom. 1:20). The word "things" is used in many passages in referring to realities in Heaven. (Phil. 2:10; Col 1:16-20; Heb. 8:12; 9:23). We know from Scripture that in Heaven there are Cities (Rev.21), mansions (John 14:1-3), trees, rivers (Rev.22:1-3), fountains of water (Rev. 7:17), food (Ex.16:4; Ps.78:25: 105:40; John 6:31-51: Luke 22:16, 18, 30; Rev. 2:7, 17: 19:1-10; 22:1-3).

Animals are mentioned as being in Heaven in these following Scriptures; (2 Kings 2:11-12; 6:13-17; Zech. 1:8-11: 6:1-8; Rev. 19:11-14, 21: Rom. 1:20).

All these things are mentioned, furniture, tongs (Isa.6:6), fire and coals (Isa. 6:6; Rev.8:5) censer and incense (Rev. 8:4-6), smoke (Rev. 8:4; 15:8), musical instruments (Rev. 5:8; 14:1-5; 15:2-4), clothes (Dan. 7:9; Rev. 1:13; 6:9-11), stones (Rev. 2:17), books (Rev. 3:5; 5:1-7; 10:1-11; 20:11-15), Also mentioned in Scripture are, vials or bowls, crowns, thunderings, lightnings, clouds, lamps, a sea of glass, singing, worship, palm trees, temples, silence, so there must also be noise at other times, trumpets, hail, mountains, keys and chains, measuring sticks, olive trees, the ark of the testament, doors, posts, girdles, pearls, diamonds and other precious stones, walls, gates, gold in abundance, streets, fruits, banquets, and many other inumerable things.

If the invisible things in the heavenlies are clearly seen by the things on Earth, as Paul taught in Rom. 1:20, then we have a right to believe that there are in Heaven the same kind of things that we have on Earth. We have no right to make an exception of any good thing that God created and intended for man to have before the fall.

Revelation 12:12, Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, (PLURAL) and ye that dwell in them (PLURAL). Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

After 20 years of studying the Scriptures trying to disprove them, and failing to do so, I found these Scriptures which teach that there is life out there in the heavens.
Colossians 1:16, For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (THRONES, DOMINIONS, PRINCIPALITIES. He created them all TO BE INHABITED) .Isaiah 45:18, For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited:

That’s an interesting viewpoint. As you mentioned in an earlier post, John 4 suggests that God exists on a different plane of existence than the one we inhabit. Perhaps He has created multiple physical realms?

To the point, however, to be in God’s likeness would seem to indicate something beyond the physical nature that we inhabit. God can take any form He desires and has done so in many examples within the Bible. I don’t think anyone would claim that God’s essential form is a burning bush or a dove. I believe it is most consistent with scripture to say that our creation in His likeness is not our physical entity.

You have given a great deal of thought and study in this topic and have come to a different conclusion. I am content to amicably agree to disagree on this point with you, my Christian brother.

On a different topic you mentioned recently, God created living things with an ability to evolve. Although the term evolution does indeed carry a lot of baggage with it, evolution is merely the heritable change in a population over time. This is directly observable scientific fact. Please take the care to understand that God created evolution and it is therefore incorrect to say that it is evil in any way.

And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR LIKENESS: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

We were created by God in His Image and after His likeness. To believe anything else is of the devil.

In fact, Jesus says that  a spirit has no body.   God, being a spirit, has no body.

Luke 24:39 See my hands and feet, that it is I myself; handle, and see: for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as you see me to have.

Assuming you think Jesus was right.  Do you?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
