A question...… if a man can't control himself do you really trust him to be in law enforcement. something to think about...… is it expected for him to do this training, is it part of his job description...… Same thing as Muslims not wanting to check out people who are buying bacon at the super market.... if that's part of the job you either do it or leave.

I don’t think it is.

Great point, and I hadn't even considered it. You are correct, he shouldn't have become an officer knowing what may be expected of him, if he was not confident of his integrity/faith. I was simply thinking we would never be picked as jurist when questioned, due to "perceived' possible bias.

I am going to give a non-bias reply to this. I think the question to ask is was this officer informed that part of his work duty would be the train other officers? And that this might include training a female office? If he knew this going into the job then that weighs on the outcome. Most places I have worked you are train by other employees. It is part of the job. Management doesn't have time to train new people. I know I have done it in my work, both male and females I have had to train. Anyway back on track here. If training a female employee is not something he can do for religion reason but that is part of the job requirement, then he can not fulfill the job requirements. There for I think that his employer has the right to let him go. So that is what I think of that. Now for some personal thoughts. As far as I know, I do not know of anywhere in the Bible it say that a man can not spend extended time with a women other then his wife. If it is in there someone please point it out to me. Because I can not find it. And just how long is an extended time anyway? 5hrs? 8hrs? what about 2hrs?

Ohhhh.....Something like that happen at a store I was working at. We got a new guy in and his religion said he could not sell tobacco. And the store sold smokes. He wouldn't ring them up so I had to do it and he quit right after that saying he could not sell tobacco. He wasn't Muslim though. Okay back to the topic. Sorry.
