His seed or offspring refers to His spiritual descendants....us!

His mission was to die on the cross, NOT raise a family as we humans do.  Dan Browns novel needs to go in the waste bin asap.  Revelation 12 is speaking of Jesus.  The children in Isaiah is in reference to people who believe and have faith in God.  Those who believe, become children of God in the spiritual sense.

Read your Tanach and understand it well. Israel is called God's son and so is David and any of His Holy people. Believers ARE the sons and daughters of God and will replace many of His holy ones that sinned. We will reign as sons and daughters on the throne with Yeshua. God is Spirit, so His sons and daughters are ALSO spiritual. This elevated them far higher than mere earthy offsprings.

But Yeshua had no earthly son like some sects teach.

Isaiah 53:8,9,10.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Verse 8 is telling us that he was cut off from the land of the living without having any one to continue his generation...dieing childless....no one to carry the name into next generations....

As a reminder...the Pharisees asked Jesus why as he is of an age to have a wife and a family...why he is not doing just that.

Jesus said that he has a mission from God and that mission does not include this part...

To have a wife and children....

Later he gave us a glance into what he meant....kind off...

He said that your brothers and your sisters are those who believe in me.. Don't you worry if your own family disown you because of me....you will find the new family in my name....

Him too....he died without any descendants to carry his name..  But he has a lot of descendants of the blood of his sacrifice who carry his name and call the children of his blood and his life...

ON VERSE 9, and 10...

It says ....when he makes his soul an offering for sin....then he sall see his offspring.

Makes reference to his resurection when he saw the disciples and the others and also us today ...

Jesus Christ does not have a son. When He was on this earth He did not marry. The offspring are talking about His children the believers.

Those who confess him are his children, his promised offspring, and the spoils of his victory. According to the testimony of the Jewish Apostles, Jesus died for our sins, rose again, ascended to the right hand of God, and he now serves as our great High Priest who cleanses us of sin (Hebrew 2:17; 8:1). Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, is the one Isaiah foresaw.

Jesus did not marry ,  did not fornicate or sin, and had no son.  I have heard a mormon teaching that Jesus had a son.

The way I look at it, Jesus was God in flesh. We are all God's children, and I don't think God would go to bed with one of his children. I'm not aware of anything in the Bible that says otherwise. Abraham had descendants.

here's a scenario, lets say there is a barren woman who cries out to Jesus in her anguish, and Jesus comes to her and heals her and by touching the place of her womb imparts a child, it is written more are the children of the barren woman then she her has a husband, and rev 12 does say the woman has more children.  Jesus didn't need to perform surgery to heal people neither does he have to copolate to have a son.

The passage in Isaiah is NOT speaking of individual human fertility period !! Isaiah, in the Old Testament is using a “figure of speech” in speaking of a future event when Jesus would come enabling the gentile nations to also come to God through faith in Jesus' birth, life, death and resurrection. A marriage ceremony is a “covenant” between a man and a woman. The bible often uses this as an allegory to teach how our relationship with God is like a marriage. God is speaking in terms that we can understand and comprehend. In the Isaiah passage the allegory is of the gentile nations, who at the time of the Babylonian exile were “barren” when it came to the things of God. And of Israel who at the time is referenced as the woman who has a husband through the covenant marriage made to God so to speak at mt Sinai.

The imagery used in the Isaiah passage is pointing to the fact that there would be more gentile believers than jewish believers in the end. In revelation, John saw God's promise come true in regards to the gentiles of whom were redeemed through faith in Jesus Christ. John saw in his vision a vast multitude of people that couldn't be numbered. That vast multitude of people are people from every tribe, nation, language.

In summary, the barren woman is used figuratively of the unbelieving gentile nations as a whole; who were previously estranged from God, but through hearing and believing the gospel, became the spiritual children of God. And the woman who has a husband is used figuratively as Israel, but initially rejected the gospel when they heard it. It is telling us to rejoice, because salvation is available to all. What a wonderful, awesome and merciful God we have!!!
