This is straying very close to getting personal. Please refrain from this going forward in this thread or you will be removed from it!

Dear brother, ...please understand I'm not questioning your authority, ...may I ask which paragraph are you referring to as becoming too personal, ...paragraph one or paragraph two?

I'm asking for my personal info so that I don't make the same error.

Thanks,

Lord bless

And yet the Bible that Jesus lost one in Judas Iscariot and specifically says that in reference to that scripture.

Jesus speaking..... “ I did not lose a SINGLE ONE” of those you have given me” John 18:9

2 Tim 2:15....... “  be a good student of the Word , lest you stand ashamed”

Read John 17:12.  He lost one.

Joh 6:39  And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.

Joh 6:40  For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day."

Jesus also said that He came to do the Father's will and does nothing but what the Father showed Him to do and say.  It sounds like a done deal to me.

Is it God's will everyone be saved?  They are not.  Just because it says that is the will of God doesn't mean it will happen, again see John 17:12.  Not a done deal.

God wants every one to come to the Word Of Truth and be saved......that’s Biblical.

Its also Biblical that Jesus spoke in Parables to hide the Truth from those who might figure things out and become saved....

So now what?

I showed that God's will isn't always done, and he lost one given to him.  That scripture about not losing any was fulfilled.  It has been used out of context to promote OSAS.  It was regarding the 12 disciples.

The point is that the church is divided over OSAS, and both sides can back up their beliefs using scripture.

When I say His will is not always being done, I mean unrighteousness continues, but the long range plan is on course.

You are saved when you do that, but it doesn't say you can't be lost again.

You will be saved is not enough for you? How about our Lord saying those he gives eternal life will never perish?

Those he actually gives eternal life to won't perish.
