@Revlori My heart goes out to your husband, as well as to you. Major diseases like MS are so difficult. (I've been living with neurological conditions since 2006, including symptoms of MS. I'm an invalid now.)

You love your dear husband. To be concerned about him and your granddaughter just means you care deeply about them. It is natural. I don't see this as a sin. I believe the Lord understands. So please don't be so hard on yourself. :emot-hug:

Take it to the Lord in prayer. He is faithful to hear and answer you. The tough part is that it is not always in our way or our time.

He loves you. Cling to that thought and to the scriptures that give you daily strength. I know how frustrating illness and trials can be.

Ah, dear sister, it is through our suffering that God is glorified. "My power is made perfect in weakness." In mine, I was afraid, but trusted Jesus, and each time I do, my faith grows. I hope the same for you and @Revlori. :)

Thank you as well dear friend. I greatly appreciate your words of encouragement and love, as well as all of those holding me and my family in prayer.

Through these measures of Godly love and your obedience to pray and encourage others, I truly pray for blessings upon each of you. May your day be blessed and filled with the joy of the Lord.

Proverbs 29:9  Perfume and incense    bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice.

love your friend in Christ

My question is: when we are born again and are walking with the Lord, are these feelings of worry, doubt and fear a sign that you lack faith in God's ability to accomplish all that you have asked God to do?

It could mean a without a continual daily reading of God's Word, one is not being fully immersed within their heart and mind. So yes, that could lead to a lack of faith.  Romans 10:17  This causes a tendency to become lean in the Spirit, rather than the intended fullness thereof.

Thank you friend for your responce. This is true from the word, however I personally read and study God's word daily. I can not go without it. I look forward to it upon each new day, though out the day and upon going to bed. May God bless you this day for sharing his word as well. ?

Greetings!  Be encouraged, sister.  I think all Christians, at some point in their lives, will feel worried, fearful and doubtful.  Consider King David’s question to his Father in heaven:

Psalm 8:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Thank you friend for your response and encouragement. May God bless you today.

Revlori---there is a calm to be found while in the storm. There are always seasons of storms.

This is a normal part of life in these old bodies. Please know that you are under no condemnation because of them.

He has promised us a great deal...one of those is that "all things work together for good to them that are called".

The faith that He gives, is not overcome by the doubts and fears that are there at the same time.

He will keep you and will calm the storm when it has accomplished its task. Nothing can touch you without His permission.

This is the wonder of being 'In Christ'.

You feel this way because you are human.  Its natural.

To overcome this, you need to read the New Testament, perhaps the Gospel of John, a lot.  You really have to stay in the word to be able to trust the word.

Also, you should ask God to help you with your unbelief.    He will.

Thank you, however I believe their is a misunderstanding. I read and study God's word everyway. I don't have unbelief. As I go through my trials, I had someone tell me that because I had those feelings at times, that I lacked faith in the ability of God's ability. I don't believe this. That is why I asked the question.

Hi Revlori, I've read your post and I understand your situation, ...what I'm going to say will probably sound strange to you, ...please understand it has come from personal experience with my Heavenly Father.

I was what many consider as very successful, before Christ I had and enjoyed all of my hearts desires, I was a "self" made man, then five years after I was saved Father called me to Tahiti, He placed me in  circumstances where I was totally helpless, ...this "self" made man could't even work to buy the necessities of life, ...I was forced to fish in the lagoon to be able to eat, I've had to sleep on a bench because I didn't have a place of my own, I have suffered through the Dengue Fever because I couldn't pay for a doctor, ...however, one of my favorite Bible verses is, "It came to pass!" ...proved to be true in my life, ...all of those trials and testings passed, ...and what I began to see, to learn is, ...Father was in complete and total control of my life, He is my Jehovah Jireh, my Provider, He is my Jehovah Rapha, my Healer,  He is my El Shaddai, when the French government attempted to kick me out of the country,  He is my I AM, my GOD, my Father and I'm one of His Blood Bought children, ...I have learned in these last 28 years that He is my Everything, ...I'm no longer responsible for myself, He is, ...and He has taken very Good care of me, ...truthfully, ...much better than I ever could of.

I have learned there is much more than reading His Word, we must learn and then receive, ...we must appropriate the spiritual Truths we have learned into our spirit, weave them into the very fabric of our being, I'm certain Father allowed me to kick, fight and wrestle with Him, until I too came to my own river Jabbok  experience with Him Gen 32:22-29 , when I came to the point of exhaustion in my own efforts and just let go and told Him if it was going to happen then it had to be Him doing it, which resulted in relinquishing all of my authority in/of my life to the Holy Spirit and submitting to His authority to rule, reign and guide me wherever He pleased through what ever circumstances and/or situations He deemed necessary in my life to conform me into the image of my Lord Jesus Christ.

May I humbly suggest in the brotherly love as your brother in Christ, ...just stop trying to fight all of these trials and tests, just stop, put them in His hands, "qui sera sera," what will be will be..., give them to Him in prayer and then rest in the peace of God, confidently knowing and accepting His will be done.

You and your husband have peace with God, ...now allow the peace of God to begin to rule in your hearts.

Lord bless

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
