I agree with Pax on this one. It is only by faith that one's eyes can be opened up to the beauty that we call christianity. If they read it in the bible and they believe it, then it is real. If not, there isn't much convincing any of us can do.

You bet it's real. God says it's real. But He didnt' create if for man but for the devil and his angels. But when man decided to disobay God then it hell became a place for those who choose to reject God and His plain of salvation He has for us..Yes it's real.

Ah, the age old hell question.

Let's see.......Did God destroy the earth with water and only saved a few?

Did the children of Israel cross the Red sea on dry ground?

Did David really kill a giant when he was young?

Did those 3 Hebrews really make it through the flames of the furnice?

Was Jesus the true Messiah?

Did Saul kill christians then was turned into Paul and write most of the NT?

Is Jesus really coming back for his church?

Was Jonah really swallowed by a big fish and survive?

......................If these are true, why is it hard to believe there is a literal hell?

In his love,

Brian

Erm - i hate to be rude, but you really dont answer the questions i have asked!! Yes the answer to them questions are true - because it says in the bible they are.

This aren't 'normal everyday kids' Tthey come from the worse possible estates ever so by throwing questions back at them isnt really going to help them in their walk!!

They are the type that want answer - and want 'proof' that its true ;)

I know theres a Hell - its helping the others believe it too.

Please help :P

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I can digg what your sayin.......however no amount of convincing will convince. I tell people the truth......if God opens their eyes, they get it......if not...well that part is up to God. All we can do for people is plant the seeds......it's God that makes them grow or not.

Wait till ya get a teen to ask you about Rom 9.........oh boy.....that's tougher than the hell question.

I pray that God uses you to break through to them and that you will see their deliverence. ;)

Ahoy, there!

The important thing to remember is that Hell (gehenna) was never made for humans. It was made for the Devil and his angels.

Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

The Devil does deserve eternal punishment in Hell... and those who follow the devil here will follow him there.

The Bible says that God calls the end from the beginning so he didn't change any feelings. Mal 3 says."I the Lord change not"

I have noticed that some people think that Hell is the "lake of fire". I am still puzzled when people confuse the two. How can Hell be the lake of fire and yet thrown into the "lake of fire.

Eze 28:15 Thou (Lucifer/Satan) wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

God didn't change the way He felt about SIN... that is the issue. God hates SIN, and the devil became sinful.

God cannot look upon iniquity, which is what was found in Lucifer.

Hab 1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

Does that make sense?

The Devil and his angels are humans. You bring up the scriptures and i'll show in those very same scriptures where in their context they are speaking of men. In matt 25:41 Christ is telling you this. He is not telling you that he is throwing people into the wrong fire. He is telling you who the fire was made for and also telling you who the evil one and his messengers are.

Zhavonay, I think I have to agree with the mass consensus on Worthy that you are way off base, bro.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
