If God only saved you from a messed up life, due to the consequences of sin, but didnt save you from Hell then the Lake of Fire, would your salvation be worth very much?

I appreciate that you are concerned with getting a life mess resolved, and God helping with that, but, we are only here for a little while, so, whatever mess we get into here, can't be compared to winding up in The Lake of Fire for as long as God lives.  So, thats the part of Salvation, that ETERNAL part, that matters a bit more, in the end.

Why in heaven's name would God send you to burn forever in hell for a technicality, or a small sin, or even a large sin? God is just, if not merciful.

If you just asked the question, I'd try to answer it.

What was the actual experience you had in 1973, that you said was an encounter with the Lord?

God does not allow Sin into heaven, and we are sinners judged by the Law to be so, until we are born again.

Its a specific sin, that is unpardonable, that if not resolved,  that will keep you and God apart for eternity, and that sin is the sin of dying as a Christ Rejector.   As if  you do that, you have died with all your sin on you, with no Blood of Jesus shed that is applied to you by God to resolve this for you... So, you die UNPARDONED - UNFORGIVEN....or as Christ defined it...."you will die IN your sin if you reject me as LORD-Messiah-Savior-Redeemer"

Lucifer tried sinning in Heaven, and some angles also, and God sent them all OUT.    There is no sin found in Heaven, so we have to get ours resolved before we die, or we dont get to stay there, after we die.

If a "age of accountability" human dies, having never by Faith allowed Jesus to pay for ALL their sin by His death and Resurrection, then they die IN them, and will end up in Hell and the Lake of Fire, because they died rejecting the sin forgiving and resolving Blood of Jesus.     A hell bound sinner will cry out to God according to Revelation 20:11 ......"dont sent me there, i dont want to BURN", and God will say...."You had all your life to receive my Son and His forgiveness. You heard the Gospel TRUTH many times and you turned away... and you CHOSE NOT TO RECEIVE HIM AS YOUR SAVIOR, so, your CHOICE HAS SENT YOU OUT OF HERE and into the place reserved for the Devil and His angles and all those who hate me and rejected ME and MY SON. !   DEPART !

One of the worst parts of eternal damnation is knowing you caused it for yourself.  And eternity will give a Christ Rejector a very long time to think about that in the Lake of Fire.

----------------------

The Gospel is this........Because we are sinners, this creates a separation between Us and God, that only Christ can resolve by His Shed Blood, thru our Faith.  "faith is counted as Righteousness".    You give God your faith in Christ and God will give you "the  free gift of Righteousness".

-----------------------------------------

Hell/Lake of Fire is a final destination.   Its one of 2.   You have Heaven, and you have Hell/Lake of Fire.  These are the only 2 eternal destinations, regarding the consequences of being Saved or not.

A person is born, they reach a certain age where sin becomes a  mental choice  and once that happens they have till  their death to reach for the nail scarred hand of the Lord of ALL, before whom EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW and EVERY TONGUE WILL CONFESS THAT JESUS IS LORD !

God is so merciful and loving,  that He came to earth to die on a Cross to allow sinners to be made righteous by this Gift of Jesus's Sacrifice of BLOOD and DEATH.

IF they dont take it, God is still merciful, but they are doomed, even before they die according to John 3:36, as the wrath of God thru the LAW has already judged every sinner already, and all that is left is for them to end up where sinners end up after they die, unless they turn to the Cross before they die, and are washed in the Blood of the Lamb.

We aren't saved by commandment-keeping, but we avoid a ton of trouble if we obey the commandments.

For perhaps the fourth time in this thread I'm asking you, how is one saved?

I don't know just where you are in your walk with the Lord. First chance you get, I'd read the Bible, cover to cover. Jesus gave us two great commandments to follow. Read them: Matthew 22:34-40. Paul teaches us to pray constantly (1 Thess 5:17). That should get you started.

Do you have an idea as to how that sounds?

Try this, perhaps:

Trust Jesus, now, for salvation. He died and rose for sin, so that when we trust Him, we receive eternal life.

Let's try again. You see me struck by a car. Running over to help me, you lean over my body. I clutch at your shirt and say, "I have seconds left before I die and I'm not right with God. What do I do?"

Your reply is . . .

Accepting Jesus as your Savior is the beginning of the journey.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
