How much time do you think there is till the end. I believe the end is very near, maybe 100-500 years. The Bible in Daniel says that in the last days "knowledge shall increase and people will run to and fro throughout the earth(Daniel 12:4). There has not been a time in history where human knowledge has expanded like this. There are so many that have the eschaton all figured out, but not me. I really do not care, and often will talk to the Lord in the flavor that if I go today, whichever way that is, then I am ok with that. I also think that a Christian with believing loyalty to the Lord Yeshua/Jesus, will not be overly concerned. I also have this vague notion that I am already a part of the 'first resurrection'. I watch the times unfolding and can see readily how very soon all of our freedoms might be curtailed. Whenever we go who love Jesus is essentially when the Lord returns for us. I do believe though that the signs point to the end. Even looking at population growth is an indication. Human world population was 2 billion in the 1920s, and in a mere century it has expanded more than threefold. Human population growth is exponential, and by 2050 it's supposed to be 11 billion. But for ages people pointed out to me I am wrong in that. That is Matthew 24:34. If a generation is collectively the average lifespan of them humans about 100 years (so young), then would that mean the Second Coming came and went? This has been in the back of my mind for ages. I believe He will not touch this earth but will rapture the Church. This could happen any time. Nothing else needs to happen for this to occur. I believe He will return to this earth at the second coming. That is after the 7 year tribulation. Many things need to happen before the second coming.
