I've heard this so many times over so many things in my 72 years that it's hard to get excited about it...      I'll just chill out till we find out...

Before my grandmother died one of these things came up and we were talking about what we would do if we knew Jesus was coming next week....    Well after several minutes my grandmother really put me in my place.    She basically told me that if you would do anything different you should be ashamed of yourself.    And the longer I thought about that the worse I felt for all the things I told her I would do differently I should have been doing anyway...

Regardless of whether this corona virus will be directly followed by rapture, it is very clear that this is a call for as many as will hear, to look up and draw closer, closer, closer to His side ....in Christ, and under His wings! He is the Rock, our Secret Place ...our Peace, our Refuge, our Salvation!

Amen ,what I believe God is saying to people is to "repent" and to turn back to our first love of when we met Jesus !

"Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first" ! Rev.2:4

YES!! I believe that with all my heart!

Sis, a couple weeks before God called Matt Home, I heard a new song by Leeland called "A Better Word" and while listening to it, He began bringing me back to just being in His presence and loving Him for who He is ...and He's so good, when we just choose to spend time communing with Him, oh, the LOVE He pours over and into our hearts ...nothing compares!! I had become so weary ...not that I went away from God, but I have been pressed from every side for so long, I didn't know how I'd survive it and I needed a refreshing in Him.

Idk what the days ahead will look like, but we must stay in that Secret Place seeking Him for what His plan is for and through us individually...praying for the lost, and sharing Him every chance we get. Amen?

(Love you, Sis ...I thank God for you!)

Amen and love you too!:emot-heartbeat:

There is not such a thing as a bad Christian, Nothing wrong with listening to good music, you might find it helpful to study the Bible, you will meet Jesus, He will give you hope and peace, the only real peace.

Are you born again? I think you are?

You are :)   You cried out to Him, and He promised that any who call on His name will be saved.  Pearl just because we sometimes struggle to do all the right things like reading and praying....and we all do from time to time....it does not mean we are "bad christians" or He has cast us away.

It just means we're in a fight.  That's all.  It's just one more opportunity to do all we know how to do, and give all of ourselves to Him and trust Him to finish in us all He has promised to complete.

There are parts of us we cannot give to Him because we ourselves are not even in touch with them.  He knows that, and in His gentle, sometimes intense, always loving way, He reveals those places to us...places we didn't even know exist in our souls....dark closets we feared to even acknowledge exist...and dared not look into.....He opens....

And it can be terrible to have to face some of what we stuffed into those places....but He is not afraid of them.   And He is fully confident in His great love for us, and His power toward us, to deal with the contents of those dark places, and bring us into an ever increasing liberty in Him.  Being transformed from glory to glory, into His own image.  All we have to do, is let Him have those places...the parts of us shame and condemnation wanted to hide from Him, and even from ourselves.  He has no condemnation for us, but invites us to partake of His gift of life and forgiveness.....simply believing in Him and His promise to forgive, repenting where necessary, confessing and simply BEING forgiven and blieving we ARE CLEAN....because He has cleansed.  He promised.

Quote
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If it's all you can do right now to just soak in some good worship music....then just do all you have strength to do.   It's enough..and as we do whatever our little tiny inadequate bit of strength enables us to do....He will do the rest in His strength.  Trust Him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
