The fruit of the Spirit is....joy..

Galatians 5:22 (NASB)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

“the fruit of the Spirit is..... joy...”

Joy, being of unmeasurable worth...Is the heart that is free, the heart that is unburdened, the heart that is at rest, the heart that knows nothing against itself. A heart that is as open, and humble, as obedient before God as that heart can find the light to walk in. Is what is required for this joy to be experienced....

Would one want to know joy? Walk in a little more righteousness than you did yesterday and tomorrow a little more than today....Than in a very short order will you know joy....Joy that knows no bounds.

For this joy does build. The more righteousness one walks in, the more of this joy will one taste, experience, and live in. As a permanent resident will this joy make itself known...

Sin and disobedience is that that steals ones joy... As those that have had dealings with God know by experience.....One can get this joy back, but it does take time to build this joy again....For joy, it is the proof of one walking in obedience to the Spirit that dwells in their inner man...If something gives this Spirit a pause. Listen to it, for if not, it will cost you your joy....The heart that has learned this, is a heart that has so blessed itself with something of unmeasurable worth...For being obedient to this that either gives or costs one joy, is a blessing only by experience can one know....

It is this heart that can, will, experience such an inner joy that no outward set of circumstances can move this heart... The heart itself is stayed on Christ... Through thick and thin, in all things has it learned to be content...Knowing to live is Christ, to die is gain...

Oh such high sounding words, but not to the heart that sees but a little of it’s own sin and corruption.....To have our hope not in ourselves, and to put our hope in the One who has called us out of all the disorder we see around us. To live by the faith of our hearts turned to His love and faithfulness and His provisions towards us...

Joy, joy, joy, is what that heart will know in abundance.. May the love and the joy of God be known, experienced by all those that He has called. Who continue to walk in all the light they see....

Be blessed all, as His joy fills our hearts according to the measure of our obedience to the light we see,  Not me

I am certain that the joy remains for The Holy Spirit remains but when the focus is upon that which is dead and has no place with God the joy is hidden from that sight but still remains within... when one walks in obedience to God because of love for God, not >do to get< stuff, then the eye is clear and sees the worth of God and that can only be joy

 ....and isn’t it interesting that right before this verse that you posted (5:22), Paul has been mentioning the evil works of the flesh (5:21); but then, the little word “but” and he then makes the terrific contrast with “the fruit of the Spirit,” which those who are listening to the Father’s voice will choose to walk in.  Father tells us in Isaiah 30:21:

²¹ Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,
“This is the way, walk in it,”
Whenever you turn to the right hand
Or whenever you turn to the left.

To the cities , and to the states , to the nation and nations of the world ,   CHOOSE YE THIS DAY WHOM YE SHALL SERVE ,  but as for the lambs ,  ITS KING JESUS ALONE we shall serve and follow .  

Let each and all who names the name of Christ depart from inquity and from the great lie that has began .     The lie which sayeth that all paths are fine .   

Its a lie spawned from the dragon .

While it may be true all paths lead to ROME ,      THERE IS BUT ONE PATH THAT SHALL LEAD US HOME .   IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE , NO OTHER WAY is there to obtain eternal life .   TAKE THAT TO the BANK .

    Its all out war and the great climatic hour is at hand .       LET all who name the name of JESUS armour up IN THE KING and truly be prepared to lose all for HIS sake ,  even to die FOR HIS GLORIOIUS NAME SAKE 

and the GLORIOUS HOPE of the one true life saving , life changing gosple OF OUR KING JESUS .     Whoever has been called to pray ,  double down on those prayers 

pray for all who do labor in the true doctrine to reach as many as can be reached and fast .     We about to witness in full force what was long ago recorded concering the end times .

The world , many faiths , the false religoins ,   are being marched together more and more to be as one , and under the beast will come full force as ONE against CHRIST and the lambs .

WELL LET US MARCH ONWARD TOO , WITH NO FEAR ,  FOLLOWING THE LAMB and doing all that honors HIM and pointing TO HE ALONE as the ONLY SAVOIR and HOPE FOR ANY .

PS ,    TO a lamb the only thing that brings IT JOY is FROM GOD .   HIS WORD brings them hope and joy ,   THE Salvation and HOPE we have in CHRIST is OUR JOY . 

and nothing contrary to GOD will ever give a lamb any kind of joy .        NOW HANDS UP ,   TIME FOR SOME PRAISE DANCING JOY TO OUR LORD .

Do you want instant and sustained Joy of the Lord, that will be fresh every morning you wake up from now on?

This will start for you and remain all your life, the very instant you realize and believe that you can never lose your salvation, because Its God who started it and will himself be FAITHFUL to complete it.

Philippians 1:6

Listen Saint.   When you give God your faith in Christ, you are trusting GOD to do His part.  And GOD is faithful to keep you saved.  You have His word...   You CAN trust Him.

There can be no real joy in a Believer's life, as it should be, as long as you have any fear at all that tells you...."you better be careful......you better remember to confess that sin..... oppps, you did it again...... ""

See all that?  That is the self righteousness in the Mind that is always trying to make you feel that you have to keep yourself saved,...  and that mind, is NOT the mind of Christ.

Peace in your soul is related to what you really believe deep deep down...... And if you are not 100% certain that you dont have to keep yourself saved,  then you will never have the Joy that God wants you to have, that comes only by trusting in  God/Christ alone to KEEP YOU SAVED.

When you are able to find that real TRUST, you will be jumping with Joy.......Literally.
