"We" were all put together with the first  of us to get the measles  so that each got the disease at the same time. The theory, and the practice, was it got the issue over with and done quickly while each  of us were still very young, and very strong.

 The way this present virus it is being fought, it will be the same battle, season after season, for a long long time, and the older each person gets the weaker their immune system tends to be. Better to fight it while young and strong may still be the better practice until a lifelong immunity  vaccine is developed and proven  out.

Hmmmm, Considering; If His priests had told Him to or if His Roman emperor and  local authorities had told Him He must, then yes He would have worn a mask. After all He went to the temple to pray multiple times a day and attended all the religious feasts.  He surrendered himself to government arrest,  and religious trial, severe beating, and willingly to even brutal death by crucifixion. I can see Jesus wearing a mask and washing His hands and staying in his assigned zone(s).

Perhaps in His name I should change my own attitude and be more compliant to the authorities myself, all while proclaiming the gospel of my Lord and savior Jesus. Thanks for the encouragement to consider. I had better change my ways I think. As testimony  of my own faith in Jesus I need become more willing to suffer the indignity of government over me.

No, the issue is the homemade cloth masks. Yes it makes people feel safer-but they don't actually stop anything typically. Hold your mask under a running faucet, if it doesn't hold water, then its not going to stop a microscopic virus. But thats just me hollering from the choir loft.

Didn't know about the water, but its a point to be considered.

News media and government puppets don't generally promulgate the fact that the COVID-19 virus is .03 microns in size.  That's exactly the same as tobacco smoke.  If you can blow smoke through your home made mask, then it won't protect you from the virus.  It won't protect the general public from any infection you may be carrying either.

On the other hand, the major effort of the media is to blow smoke at us 365/24/7.

Social distancing and self-quarantine is still the best way to restrict the virus.
