That God came into this world in the form of a human man--both God and man--in order to take our place to be judged and condemned, so that we don't have to be judged and condemned. He then rose again in His glorified Body and ascended to Heaven to act as our mediator and intercessor between us and the Father. His shed blood cleanses us of all sin and also makes His perfect Righteousness our own. This means, for those that believe, that when the Father looks at us, He sees the sinless Christ. Jesus died so that we can have Eternal Life. John 3:16--For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes on Him should not perish, but have eternal life. Cry out to God and ask Him to help you believe and all of that will be instantly true for you. This is from the Greek word staurus... this was obviously an expression reference to the cross as was the word tree in Greek xulon: Galatians 3:13 (AV) 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: There is also a way to disprove the JW's claim in John 20 where Jesus made reference to the nails (plural that pierced his hands).
