hollow earth theory

Have any of you heard of the Hollow Earth theory??? I just bought a book about it and am interested in hearing what you guys/gals think. A popular author, Eric Jon Phelps (Vatican Assassins), is one of the main proponents of this idea. So...???

From what little I've read, it doesn't seem to jibe with the wave patterns picked up by our seismographs......

The whole idea of a U.S. gov't conspiracy, etc., to withhold evidence about this apparent "fact", as some put it, seems a little bit absured. Don't get me wrong, I know that gov'ts do conspire (we'd be fools to think they didn't), but this one seems to be quite the challenge. Based on the Bible, i don't believe it. Isaiah calls the earth a "circle" doesn't he??? I am not educated enough on the matter to say for sure one way or the other, but it is interesting to say the least. One last thing. Most people who support the hollow earth theory believe that aliens live inside of the earth and this is where ufo's come from. For this reason alone, I tend to take them much less seriously in their claims. Perhaps I am judging, perhaps I am using common sense. I don't know. Help me out guys??? Am I nuts or are they??? lol.

That's about the size of it.

Sure no one had actually been inside the Earth to describe it's interior.

However, whenever an earthquake occurs, seismographs around the globe pick up on the wave patterns that have travelled throught he Earth from the point of origin. By studying these wave patterns and their course of travel, they can determine the density of the material the wave had to pass through.

If the Earth was hollow, the waves wouldn't be able to pass through to the other side, as waves need a medium to travel through. Air won't carry such vibrations.

Therefore, a hollow Earth is very, very, very highly unlikely.

I've heard several authors on late night radio talking about this and it seems really far fetched to me that the world is hollow.

However, there are some that talk about large cavities much like Carlsbad Caverns that might have some reality to it. Who knows about that.

Most of those that talk about this say that they are filled with reptilian entities that are supposed to have made them and their interface with topside humans. I have a lot of trouble with that

One of the most entertaining people to listen to about this is Red Elk. He is a Blackfeet shaman with some really good tales. If you get the chance to hear him it is worth staying up late for. I don't believe much he says but he is a real riot to listen to.

One thing I do know from one of my wife's uncles is that there are some very huge pockets within the earth. Her uncle was a driller for many many years. He had worked on a super deep drilling rig in southern Texas when he left the business. Somewhere just below 18,000 feet they hit some kind of opening that they could not find a bottom on. He said that they dropped miles and miles of drill pipe and cable into the hole and could not find anything. He said that the entire crew freaked out from some weird feeling when they lost the normal drilling fluids as they hit the hole. It bothered them so much that supposedly none of them stayed in the business. He says it was some spiritual thing......

Who knows what spiritual things go on in our world, and how to get at the truth through all the really interesting stories is beyond me.

Whatever is down there, I think I'll just stay up on top and wait for the Lord.

e.g. "The Inner core.....Outer Core.........Mantle.......and the Crust???"

Stick with the inner core outer core mantel and crust until someone comes up with a lot more information than is available. If hell is down there it is a spiritual place and we won't know until the Lord return wether or not those recordings are real. If it is a spiritual place it may well be in the outer core that those spirits are kept in very very hot magma. Now I am starting to sound like Red Elk and that is way out in left field where it is a hoot to listen to but you shouldn't pay much long term attention to it.... so I'll just go away and leave this alone...
